House Tridens of Clan Tarentum

Dark Greetings Tridens,

It’s been two weeks since my last report and in those two weeks the clan has seen a leadership change and the DB celebrated the Day of the Fox.

For the clan news: Anshar resigned, as consul in his place Oberst is our new Consul with Ronovi appointed as Proconsul. The clan story will be continued as our new clan summit has pointed out, and will reflect us losing our powers of necromancy. Anshar updated the story on Nov 1.

A Run-on is also in the works as part of the “Broken” story; see the proconsul report for details. Because the clan is losing the powers of necromancy our new clan powers have been designated as Smoke Demon and Rakghoul Creation.

House News: As mentioned the Day of the Fox was last week, and during this time seals of loyalty were given out to a certain number of members in the club. Three members of Tridens received these awards; Frosty, Korras, and myself.

Activities: No new house competitions, but there are four running and one upcoming competition for Tarentum and one DB wide competition to report.

That's right, Tarenti! Your new Proconsul is looking for some shiny new headers for her upcoming reports to the clan. I am expecting some original, creative looking headers which graphics don't hurt my eyes and don't take too much space. The categories I'd like the headers to go by are:

-DB News

-Clan News

-Competitions

-Transfers and Arrivals

-Achievements

-Anything else?

Three will be rewarded for their work, but only one will see his or her headers be used in each report. So be sure to give it your best.

[Tarentum] Trophy of Tarentum

At the end of every month the most active journeyman in Tarentum will be awarded a shiny. This competition effectively replaces Fist of Cestus but includes the entire clan.

Awards: Third level crescent to most active journeyman (a step up from the old house comp due to increased competition).

OT Ronovi Tavisaen

For four weeks, your Proconsul will submit all you Tarenti to a weekly test regarding general Brotherhood knowledge. As with the prior Cestus competitions, you will be working with analogies. One example would be as follows: "Oberst is to Consul as Ronovi is to ____" Hopefully you would answer with "Proconsul" - though the analogies won't be that blatantly easy. Like last time, weekly points will be awarded based on the correct answer given as well as a first come, first serve basis. The person who answers the fastest with a correct analogy will receive 4 points; the second 3 points; and the third 2 points. Anyone who at least participates on time but does not get the correct answer (or is not one of the top three fastest submitters) will gain 1 point. Keep in mind: THERE WILL BE NO RETRIES. At the end of the four week period, and due to a larger amount of participants on the clan level, the top three Tarenti with the most points will earn a Legion of the Scholar.
