mIRC #revan
It's important to maintain a presence there and interact. It's the only real-time venue we have and acts as a sort of barometer for the state of the House. We still have trivia up and viable through the end of the year so if someone wants to host some if enough people are around, email me and I'll set you up.
Otherwise, don't be afraid to use this tool even if you just idle there. Start a conversation with someone and see where it leads. We also have a few pretty cool people from outside the House who frequent there so say hello sometime.
Deep Ice
Sarin's free-time has been spotty lately but he was able to get this part of our fiction going with the Deep Ice article. A few others have contributed as well. This is our first and only vessel for the House so take care of it. If anyone wants to help flesh it out some more, email me and we'll get you started.
CL's and RM
What a pain in the ass. The downside to forming a unit in the Brotherhood comprised of working professionals with busy lives is...they have busy lives with few minutes to spare to help us steer the ship. Seeing as I can't get two of you for CL's, I'm now looking for just one of you. One super-soldier, one steely-eyed killer, one minister of death and destruction to give me a hand with the day-to-day.
This will be a Rollmaster-level job with a better title. Think Darth Wyyrlok. You preferrably need to be smart, creative, reliable, an adept writer, and motivated. Artistic is a big plus too. Now that I've eliminated myself from qualifying for this job, it's obvious I need one of you for it. If this sounds appealing to you, send me an email with some ideas. No timeframe. We'll only go this route when we have someone who fits the bill.
Outgoing
It was bound to happen. Two of our Founders have left the fold and headed back to familiar ground. Wish Archangel and Rayne well in their travels.
Incoming
Portarr Corcordian, Panthera, Jaden Cardie, Talan Saris, Anture...Welcome. All are brand-new to the Brotherhood and our House. Drop them an email or say hello on IRC and help them out if you can.
The Chronicles of Revan
The first issue is done and up on the website. It's a micro-issue that took me way too long to put together but I spent a lot of time finding and buying things I needed to do it. The subsequent issues should be a bit longer and of much better quality. I'm no master of 3D yet and telling a story visually is very different for me so I'm adjusting.
The idea is to publish our living story as a House and element of the Brotherhood in this form. It's more challenging, takes longer, more expensive (for me), but I think the end-product is pretty decent. As these go on, I'll get better at putting these together. If anyone would like to contribute, let me know. Comments, suggestions, criticisms are all welcome.

Omancor Crask
I finally got this wiki article underway (with some prompting) and it's mostly complete. I've asked for some help finding some additional quality images. Whether you find them or make them yourself, have a look at the article and see what you can come up with. Email me links to what you find.
These kinds of items impact the entire Brotherhood and partially represent our contribution to same. Take some pride in them and do what you can to make the club better where you can. If you want to work on things like this, email me.
Website
We've switched over to Arion's host as we had stalled with the last one. The website is mostly complete and functional but will improve as we move forward. We'll start to use it shortly for in-House announcements, general information, archiving, and as a general recruitment tool for those who might find there way to us before they find the Dark Brotherhood. It will also be the home of The Chronicles of Revan and more.
Please give Arion a big thank-you for his work on this. He's been fantastic about staying in touch with me and keeping forward momentum on this thing. Without him, we would pretty much have no website or the utility and advantage that comes with it.

Competitions
Busy time of year obviously and participation has been non-existent. That's fine. I'm not worried if you don't write me a story or draw me a picture. But if there is something you want to do or see, let me know. Also don't hesitate to send me your ideas for competitions. Nearly every one of you has operated at high-levels of the club and know how to do these things right. Put that to use. We finally have some new members now who will need the opportunities in order to advance.
The Force Unleashed: Sith Edition (PS3 Review)
I wanted the collector's edition so I forked over cash for this. Not really worth it. If you don't already own a copy, probably worth it. You'll get all the previous DLC, costumes, levels, etc. plus the new stuff. But the effort put into the new stuff...wow, was it lacking. I think I beat the two new levels in under 90 minutes.
The experience is stilted, the quality of the sparse cut-scenes doesn't even approach that of the ones done for the primary game. I wasn't surprised it wasn't that good, I was surprised it was as bad as it was. The only positives for me were a couple of the new costumes are very nice, a couple nice action moments in the story, and the ending is decent.
Wait for the bargain bin.
