Welcome to my third Aedile report, everyone. A little late.... but it's here none-the-less! Awesome, don't you think? As you all know, the Rite of Supremacy is in full swing and we've already got some activity booming. As it stands, Taldryan currently holds the lead in gaming against Scholae Palatinae thanks to our very own Ace and Vardar, that have yet to lose a match to those peons. Our Win/Loss record is currently 15-0 in Jedi Academy alone, which is great. Hopefully Vardar and Ace can keep it up enough to take us straight through week one without a single loss. That'd be a blast.
For week one, we've got two other competitions, as you all know; fiction, and graphics. The fiction topic is free form, meaning it can be about anything as long as it's Star Wars. Write about the rebirth of a Sith Lord, murder of the Jedi Grand Master Luke Skywalker, anything; just make sure it's creative and it follows the rules of realism. Another good rule of thumb is that 10 pages of fluff won't beat 5 well written pages. Take your time and make it of good quality. You actually need to place to earn points in this competition. Rushing it won't get you anywhere... unless you happen to type incredibly fast and well. Then it's okay. On the graphics scene, we've got something that definetly requires an imagination. From digging of our members, it appears as though we're on a planet that... well... is only part of Brotherhood cannon.
Another thing to note is that we're in the Swarm War, against the Killik's; most likely the species that occupies Salas V, and probably in the Unknown Regions somewhere. For more information on the species, make sure that you check out their Wookiepedia page. In this competiton, you are to decipt (come up with) an active battlefield that's present on Salas V. From various research of our members, it seems as though Salas V is much like Earth. Many different climates terrain. Make sure you use your imagination for this one; you'll need it to captivate the judge's eye and hold his interest.
Reports and Stuff Grand Master Muz Ashen has released a report for... you guessed it... Grand Master. The Krath has stated that the Ground Forces reset will be happening after the Rite of Supremacy, because it generally makes more sense. And it does. Big suprise. On another note, the Combat Master (Erinyes) has released a report about the ACC, which I believe included something about the Custom Weapons system undergoing a revamp to fit with the new possessions system that's coming out, stated the start of the ACC basics rewrite, and something to do with an ACC Advanced course, methinks. Nice, isn't it? I think so.
The Herald, Shikyo Keibatsu, announced the final day of the HSH - Herald Style Hannukah, was the First. While we utterly hate the fact that it's coming to an end, we're MORE then grateful for all the goodies and stuff that Santa Shikyo and Santa Muz brought us this holiday season. Many cool things have come out, and I encourage you all to check them out (you can do so by using the construction tools, or plain URL's if you don't meet the rank requirements). The local Code-Guru, Orv Desserx, has been spearheading the PHP recode of the DJB site with his coding team of guru's and other things. You can already see the changes being made - report comments, construction tools, rosters, competitions page, all that stuff is now PHP-ized. Cool, ain't it? I think so. :D
Rather than list everything that everyone has done since the last report by an Ektrosis summit member like I should, I'm just going to ditch that and go with a more direct way of revealing people's accomplishments; randomly choosing as many active members off the top of my head that have done something in the past little while and listing them in no particular order. How fun is that?! (It won't happen again, trust me. It's just that the report is late. :P)

Yeah, that was totally inappropriate. But meh.. It's okay, you'll forgive me later. <3
Welp, I hope all of you nuts out there that believe that the end of the world shall be here in roughly three years have already started preparing for that stuff or thing. I'll make sure that I have a fat bag of popcorn ready for it, okay? Good. :) Back on track! This is the closing of my report, and I have a bit of a reminder here for you people. Try to have fun in the RoS. While I'd really prefer it if we won, it's not the end of the world if we don't. Work hard, and take a day or so of a break if you really have to.
Whatever works, right? This is what the Brotherhood is all about. Fun. So have some. If it isn't fun for you, then there sure as hell isn't a point to it all.... And also remember when submitting your... submissions... that they go directly to [Log in to view e-mail addresses], as well as [Log in to view e-mail addresses]. Don't send it to your summit members. If you do, you'll be asked to resend the email to [Log in to view e-mail addresses], and believe me, it'll be a huge pain.
