Gladians:

The Rite of Supremacy has come to an end for us. Tarentum won 5th place out of seven. That is an improvement over the Ninth Great Jedi War where we came in 6th (dead last; House Revan did not exist at that time), so it's cause for celebration... but it means there is still a great deal of room for improvement in future Vendettas. Congratulations to everyone who participated!

I expect medals for the RoS to be awarded no sooner than two to three weeks from now, so please be patient. They still have another week to finish up, and it will take them at least a week to tabulate the final scores for everyone and compile the lists of award winners. Then, they have literally hundreds of awards to give out. It's a lot of work, it will take some time, but it will get done. Please do not bother Muz about it.

The MAA's office is still not approving new competitions until the RoS is over. I have asked if they could make an exception for Tarentum, but I have not yet received an answer. So, take the time to work on some Shadow Academy exams, spruce up your Wiki article, revamp your character sheet, or write some character fiction for your promotion requirements. I'll also be happy to kick off some practice ACC battles for you in the Clan Tarentum Hall or the Training Annex. As soon as we get the go-ahead to create some new competitions, we'll get some up and running. Raiju is working on some fun stuff for us all, but our hands are pretty much tied until we can get competitions approved.

Master/Student Program

The single best way to get focused and turbo charge your advancement as a Journeyman in the Dark Jedi Brotherhood is to get involved with the Master/Student Program. The MSP pairs a student (between Apprentice and Jedi Hunter) with a Master (Dark Jedi Knight or higher). Your Master will work individually with you to guide you on your path to Dark Jedi Knight. They will be available to answer your questions, review your writing, or anything else you may need.

With all our new DJKs in the past few weeks, we have lots of great people waiting to help you out. If you are a Journeyman interested in finding a Master to work with, please reply to this email and ask!

You may either CC me when you submit your entry, or just send me a quick note saying you participated. If it's a competition that I might be participating in too, I'd appreciate if you did not include me on your actual submission... that way I can still participate!
