Situation Report for the Wolf Guard :: Secret Clearance Detected:: ::Access to Document – Granted ::

Commander Zod Ramiel was seated in a comfortable flo-form chair within the BAC Shadow’s Officer’s Observation Bubble (OOB). The Epicanthix’s white combat helmet took up half of a synth-wood sidetable and the Wolf Guard CO found himself staring into the golden visor, quickly becoming lost in his thoughts. Zod’s commissioning had come at a totally unexpected time; a week ago, he was an Assault Trooper for Soulfire Strike Team and had just returned from his species’ homeworld of Panatha after the conclusion of a classified assignment when Aedile Driftan Housan of House Qel-Droma had met him in the forest clearing that had been converted into a landing pad for House Galeres and wasted no time in explaining the Scholar House’s lack of two Battleteam Leaders; without any additional fanfare, he opened a metal box that contained the silver oak leaves of a Commander.

While Driftan had told Zod to think about the offer, the then-Guardian knew what he wanted and it was less than two hours later that Ramiel found Housan in the VIP quarters of House Galeres’ Forward Operating Base and knelt before him in acceptance of the Dark Jedi Knight’s offer. An hour after that, and with a shower and shave, the two Sith were on a shuttle bound for the other side of Eldar where the Temple of Ulic was located.

So with Zod’s unexpected ascension to a House Summit spot coupled with his promotion to Jedi Hunter had made these past 7 days very good for the new BTL, almost enough (but not quite), to make him forget about the shocking defeat that Clan Arcona had suffered on Salas V. But then, the surprise attacks on Selen and Arconae Primus had cut through the Shadesworn Clan like a knife through hot butter and it was turning out to be a series of trials-by-fire for the six BTLs of Clan Arcona. The time had come for Commander Zod Ramiel to prove himself to his men, his House and Clan. And to do that, he had to let the Shadesworn hear the wolf’s howl.

One hour later, the Commander had finished with his inaugural report and summoned his Executive Officer, Major Joseph VanWyck, to the OOB and handed him a hardcopy of the report.

“See that this gets pinned up in the barracks, Major” ordered Zod and VanWyck saluted before turning sharply and preparing to exit the room. Predictably, that was when the hazard klaxons began to blare and the entire Shadow was plunged into an eerie red light…. <end fiction>

Hey there Wolf Guard! It’s your BTL, Zod, here with my first report. I know that you all received a little “intro-report” in the form of a gmail message from me last week but now that my schedule has seen fit to settle down, I can finally file a legitimate report. So please, indulge my sense of honor and let me officially introduce myself. But I promise I won’t spend too much time on that as we have a lot of ground to cover.

~~ Intro ~~ Ok, so this is probably just reiteration for a lot of you so I’ll make it quick; My name is Zod Ramiel and I’m a Jedi Hunter of the Sith Order and a new addition to the House Qel-Droma Summit as the second BTL of Wolf Guard. I’m an avid writer and love the wiki, ROs, and fictions as well as being a voracious reader so if any of you have fiction pieces or RO submissions you want me to proofread, just send ‘em on over at [Log in to view e-mail addresses].

I’ve got a lot of competition ideas planned for you as well as activities that will hopefully promote activity within the unit (House and Clan too) and help you all with skills that can aide you outside of the DB (crazy, I know) such as writing, netiquette, and just general courtesies (if you’ve ever been in #arcona, you’re probably wondering when Arcona became courteous, we haven’t). *The new Dark Council positions, the Fist and Voice, are still open for applications. The Fist oversees the Grandmaster’s Royal Guard (when it returns) and acts as the leader of the DB’s gaming community. Likewise, the Voice is tasked with overseeing all fictional developments within the Brotherhood as well as the ACC (the Combat Master position will still remain but become subordinate to the Voice once a Councilor is chosen).

*Exodus Day, the day of celebration marking our split from the Emperor’s Hammer Strike Fleet, has come and gone with the coveted Seals of Loyalty being awarded as well as the prestigious Silver Sash going to former Grandmaster and current Deputy Grand, Darth Sarin.

<=0=> Clan News <=0=> *The main nugget of Arcona-awesomness is the current Clan RunOn “No Rest for the Wicked” whose plot was designed by none other than our very own Marick Del’Abbot, the CO of Oblivion Brigade and fellow Triumvir of the HQD BTL Triumvirate. A synopsis so far is that Selen and Arconae Primus have been attacked by enemies unknown and the Abyssal Tome (the holy book of Arcona) stolen. Each Battleteam has been given a different task but ours is to head planet-side to both Eldar and Primus and find out (interrogate) from the garrison commanders as to why our defenses were not ready to repel an attack. Check the RO to see where you’ve been sent, as I tried to divide you guys up between the two planets while I, as operational commander, remain onboard the BAC Shadow to protect Quaestor Erinos and Aedile Housan.
