It's report time <p>

<p> A bit too long ago, I announced that we'd be taking applications for two new positions on the Dark Council, the Fist and Voice of the Brotherhood. The Fist is still accepting applications, but today, we've decided to announce the Voice.<p> Halcyon Rokir is no stranger to the DC, having served on it numerous times, as Master at Arms, Combat Master, Consul and even a stint at Deputy Grand Master. His expertise with the ACC and running competitions will serve him well in this new position. Congratulations, Halc.<p> Anshar has retired from P:MAA, due to real life getting busy on him. Korras is currently accepting applications for that position. See his recent news post for details.<p>

-> <- <p> Today, we also get to announce a new medal. For a good long time, we have been shoehorning stuff into medals that don't really work for them. The most obvious example is awarding people in the ACC matches rarely, and when it happened, with Clusters of Fire, a medal that is a gaming medal. There's usually complicated rates for handing them out, while we tried to rationalize how much effort went into the outcome and weighing it against a totally different thing. That never sat right with me, and I've heard the same sort of complaint from various members across the brotherhood. <p> Today we announce the Cluster of Ice<p>

Awarded for victory in ACC matches, participation in officially sanctioned run-ons and eventually, official RPG sessions, the Cluster of Ice is awarded for excellence on the fictional fields of battle. It's pretty obvious that it is made to look like the CF, as it's kinda supposed to be in the same vein as it is. <p>

-> <- <p> There's a couple of promotions that i wanted to declare here, too. The first of which is a long-standing member of the Dark Summit, a consul by the nae of Alaris, who has served in Plagueis for over a year, without any major hiccups to speak of. He has done very well to help push forward the sense of community in his clan, which is one of the main driving points, if not the primary purpose of a clan in my eyes. His work has done a world of good for the Ascendant clan, and it was high time that he was promoted to Exarch. Congratulations, Alaris.<p> The second promotion goes to a Knight in Naga Sadow by the name of Kano. When I needed a volunteer for the April Fool's joke, He was the person most reccomended to me, and for good reason. He went into the work far further than i really expected, not only running with the premise, but crafting several documents to help create the illusion of realism here, including a report and actually drawing up the independent house proposal as if it were real. If this is the kind of work we can expect out of him when we're just joking, I can only imagine how crazy he will get with real work as he rises through the ranks. Congratulations, and welcome to the Equites, Kano.<p>
