Welcome to the latest edition of the Combat Master's report. There are a couple of announcements this week, so if you're interested, read on.
The Journeymen Ladders closed earlier this week, and the top three finishers were decided. Congratulations to Kael Fayne, Tirna Q'jira and Severon Vercingetorix on their respective first, second and third places. The Journeymen Ladder is also the first official ACC event where the new Cluster of Ice was awarded for wins in the competition, so congrats to all those who won one as well.
The Equite Ladders have moved into their semi-final round. The matches for this round are Scion vs. Tsainetomo and Sashar vs. Timeros. Best of luck to those four, and I'm eager to see who makes it to the finals.
Finally, an announcement that's been a long time in coming. Yesterday I marked my one-year anniversary as Brotherhood Combat Master. Today, I'm resigning from the position. It's no secret that my time as CM has been less than stellar, and after some discussions with Halc and Muz and some soul-searching of my own, I've realized that it's time to step aside and let someone who can dedicate more time and effort to the position take the reins.
There have been a lot of people who've supported me in the position since I came in, and they deserve thanks for it. First on the list are Muz and Halc, for being good co-workers in the good times and keeping me honest in the bad times. The ACC Staff have been a huge help, and I count myself lucky to have worked with the people that I have. Finally and most importantly are the members of the DB as a whole. You guys are the future of this club, and you're the ones that give it a reason to be alive. I think there have been times when various influences get in the way of keeping the DB fun, and I hope that we keep finding a way to move past them and remember the reason we're here.
For myself, I'm leaving the ACC in Halc's hands; his previous experience as Combat Master leaves no questions about his fitness for the position, and it's his job as VOICE now anyway. I'll be staying on staff long enough to finish running the Equite Ladder and clear up the qualification matches that I have. From there, we'll see.
Thanks to everyone that made the job worth having, and I hope the ACC and the DB will flourish in the future. Keep making this place great, guys.

Thanks for all your work in the ACC Erin!
What he said. ^ The next CM has some awesome boots to fill.
I'm not an ACCer, but I think you did some great work in getting the ACC more structured and stable in the Brotherhood. You may think your work was less than stellar, but I know at least in my clan that the ACC has become more popular, more enjoyable, and more a part of the club. Thanks for all you've done, Erin.
Sorry to see you go. Not sure what another Combat Master could do that you couldn't. You're as good as they come. Thanks for your service.
Erin! It has been a great joy to see you in the ACC and working your magic and it will be sad to see you leave the position. The ACC has always been one of my favorite parts of the DB, win or lose, and you have kept it that way during your tenure as the Combat Master. So, thanks!
