Well, this is my first report as Battleteam Leader for the Reconkers, so I figured I'd introduce myself to those of you who don't know me. I've been a member of the DB off and on since slightly after dirt was first invented. My goal here with the Reckoners is to help those of you that need it benefit from my experience. I'm especially focused on those members that aren't yet Dark Jedi Knights rank wise, as with the promotion requirements posted there's no reason not to be working primarily towards the goal of the DJK rank. If anyone needs assistance on that front, don't hesitate. The other thing I'm big on is the Wiki (I'm on the wiki staff), and I think that everyone should have a character article of some sort (especially those people that need it for promo requirements hinthint). Also, we're a fiction based Battleteam and strong fiction comes from a strong character foundation. The Wiki is, in my opinion, the best tool to use to establish that strong foundation.

Well, the biggest thing going on for us at this moment is finding my replacement as lieutenant! I'd like to bring somebody in that can help further grow the team both thorugh activities as well as fictional background. If you're interested, please fling an email my way. List your experience, plans for the team, and any crazy ideas you have. Also, if you'd like to get extra points on your application, please forgo email and send me your application written on the back of a crisp new $20 bill.

There aren't any competitions specific to the Reckoners at the moment (yet!), but I'll be looking into working up some quick fiction stuff to get people into the groove as well as perhaps a Run On for the team to better build some team cohesiveness.
