Rollmaster Report

Drip... Drip... Drip... The leak that had kept him up all night was still dripping. His mat was soaked as were his clothes. Trent had rolled on the cold stone floor and spent the night there, his back and neck felt the pain of a hundred pins stabbing him. Racing out of his room, he hastily tied his robes and clipped his armory saber to his belt.

Kaira stood in a small room where she waited the arrival of her new student Trent Devson. The boy as she called him was late and this did not bode well for him. This would be the last time she had to wait for him as she now understood the frustration and Anger her master had felt for her when she had been late. If he did not show in the next few moments she would leave to hunt him down to kill him.

Trent ran down the hall as he turned the corner and smacked into another Sith Trainee, a rodian, some new guy recently off the transport from whatever hellhole of a planet he was from. Trent new he was more powerful than this piece of alien scum. Pulling out a dagger from his cloak, he quickly stabbed the rodian in the throat and continued on his way. Upon reaching the dark tower, he swung the door open and bowed to his master. Yes Master?

Kaira stood at the door as she was about to leave when she felt the presence of her young student. He angry seems to drip from him. She was about to open her mouth when from behind her student came three solders.

Ma'am there has been a murder. A young Rodian trainee has been killed. Kaira frowned as she looked at her student. Do not trouble yourselves solders bury the body and report it. know the killer and he will be pushed.

The solders did not question Kaira as they walked off. The next thing Trent knew he was pushed up against a wall with the use of the force behind his masters hand. She was not even touching him as she glared at him.

It is not your right to chose who lives or dies around here. If you chose to take matters into your own hands again you will find your self dead. Do I make myself clear?

The Kath did not wait for an answer as she throw her young student a cross the room.

You are late and you did something I will have more work from. There for you shall have three times the work for the next month as well as spend your nights in a small prison cell.

He was weak. I was his superior...

Trent managed to squeak through a wave of fear that ran through him. The young Protector kneeled in front of his master, the pain from his encounter with the floor reminding him of his position.

What task would you have me do, my master?

Kaira turned away from her student. With a deep breath she brought her self under control.

You will do anything I tell you for now you will not tell me who is weak and you are superior to. If I hear those words from you again you shall be the one to die.

Before Trent knew what had happened Kaira had her saber out and next to him. She had left it open to him to defend him self how ever.

Trent kept his head down and eyes closed. He then heard the energy blade of his masters lightsaber humming next to his head. The Protector fought the instinct to grab his Armory saber to defend himself.

Maybe she wants you to... maybe it's a test... the voices ran through his head. No... the time is not right... not now... I will strike when she least expects it,_Trent thought to himself. _Do you wish to kill me, master? he asked coldly.

Kaira glared at the young man as he did not move or try to defend him self.

_I want you to defend your self now. You are here to train not to kneel there like a lump if you wish to die I will see that it happens. _

Kaira said as she back flipped away form him but then made her way right into a new charge. Trent leapt to his feet, drew and ignited his Armory saber in one smooth motion. The blue blade hummed to life. Trent advanced on his master the fear in his eyes disappeared, replaced by an emotionless look.

You underestimate me, master.

Instantly, his face twisted as if he were a rabid animal. He let loose a flurry of quick high strikes at his masters head. The Krath had no trouble blocking them, and returned with a counter attack. Trent tumbles backwards and sprung to his feet. He charged his master. Reaching into his robes grabbed the blood stained dagger and launched it toward Kaira.

Kaira was not underestimating her student how ever she was letting him think she was not as powerful as she was. Then as she went to dodge a strike she felt a slice on her upper right arm. With a smile she turned to Trent. He was strong just as she thought he had been. The Krath jumped back away from him with a smile.

_I grow tired of this._with one wave of her hand Trent was sent flying back into a wall.

Trent crashed into the wall with a sickening snapping sound. His saber landing across the room as pain shot through his right arm. Trent cringed and clawed his way to his weapon.
Kaira smiled with a sickening grin at her student. With a wave of her hand his armory lightsaber flew into her hand.

You have much to learn my young student. Remember your place. Now for the rest of day head to the medical bay. Once you are treated and released get your tooth brush and report back to me for cleaning assignments.

Yes.... Master...." Trent cringed with a bow and headed to the medical bay.

Big news of the day, our beloved (yea right) ProCon Viv has become the new combat master and Praetor to the Voice of the brotherhood. Everyone wish him well in his new position. He for now will stay as our ProCon as well. Good luck with the work load Sir Viv.

We have seen other changes in the past week with in the site such as the Seneschal changing hands. Arion Aquillarum Sunrider is our new Seneschal so if you have troubles with the site he is the one to talk to. He is also looking for a Praetor so if you are good with coding send him an appellation do by the 30th of this month. Good luck to all that apply for the job.

There is a number of gaming announcements on the main page of the brotherhood I would if I were you go and check that out. You will find many more changes to gaming in the weeks to come as well. Those of you who are new to the site should check out all news on the main page and those of you who have been here should already know this.

Journeymen there are a number of contests going on right now if you wish to level up get to work. If you have questions well you know where to go. If you wish for a different kind of active come to me I have some projects that need work.

Clan Plagueis Lifetime Achievement Award

This award is given by the Consul and Proconsul of Clan Plagueis to one individual who has left Clan Plagueis and gone on to do great things in their Dark Jedi Brotherhood Career. As this is the first award being given, it seems only fitting to give this award to the most successful Plagueian of all time. The Dictim goes to former Grand Master and current Deputy Grand Master, Darth Sarin (Aristan Dantes).

Outstanding Overall Individuals

Outstanding Journeyman

At the time of the nomination round in the Dictim of Two Skies Awards, this individual was still a Journeyman. This field was one of the most challenging to vote for, because all three candidates were outstanding in their own way. The Dictim goes to Fang Ao Tian.

Outstanding Equite/Elder

There has never been a doubt, at any time, as to who is the most outstanding Equite or Elder in Clan Plagueis, and I doubt that anyone will be surprised that the Dictim goes to Kaira Rohana.

Outstanding Summit Member

The entire Clan Plagueis Summit of the past 12 months was nominated in this category, and that is a massive field. Still, this individual stood far above the rest of the options and I am very proud to say that the Dictim goes to Vivackus Kavon.

I wanted to make sure everyone on this list is congratulated. They have all been doing a lot for our clan. So make sure to say something to them when you see them next time.

If you find that your master and student pairing are not working out, I would also like to be informed so that we might find you a new master or a new student.

This last week has been interesting. Last Tuesday I went to the Zoo. Now I was set to meet friends around 10:30 am my time so we could enjoy the zoo together. Well it rolls around to about noon and my friends are nowhere to be found. On top of that I had brought tea with me. I am known as a klutz to my husband I spent most of the tea down the front of me.

So here I am in the zoo socked with tea and waiting for friends. I felt miserable so I went into the gift shop. Yep there is the first mistake. They had pants but they were sweats. It was set to be 75 that day and I was like great I could get them and wait for my shorts to dry out. So I spent 30 dollars on ONE pair of sweat pants. There is my 2nd mistake of the day.

Well after all this and changing my friends still have not shown up it is a little after noon so I take off into the full area of the zoo. It wasnt until almost 1:30 pm that my friends met up with me at the lawn that is used as a picnic area. It turns out they just had trouble finding a place to park and take the train into the zoo to make it cheaper on the ticket.

We go to leave the zoo after a lot of fun and I get on the max to head to my husbands work and I am like now I have to tell husband that I spent 30 dollars on a pair of sweats that I wore for about an hour. He was not thrilled with me and still is not letting me forget that mistake. So lesson of the day every one. Suffer as my husband put it with wet cloths. Not my style.
