We'll start with some introductory news regarding Clan Tarentum's military. Both the ground forces and fleet are completed and approved by Muz! The Officer Candidate School is well under way... battle plans will be graded very soon (I'm sorry, my weekend was shorter than I thought it would be) and Admiral Bloodfyre's next assignment will begin in good time :)

Future Character Rendition by Jeric McPoopcakes until 20. So we should all know that years from now our characters will not look the same. What will your character look like 10 years from now? The Herald’s Office is tasking you with creating a rendition of your character in the future. How you go about doing this is up to you. You can edit a current picture, make a whole new picture, ect.

[Tarentum] Wee Little Beasties by Ji K'awiil until 30. June http://www.darkjedibrotherhood.com/dbjedi/competition.php?id=5075 Yridia II, the throne world of Tarentum and a planet dominated by oceans, needs its zoo filled! Write a small, one paragraph description of a type of sea creature present on Yridia II. It can be monstrous and huge or teeny tiny. Bonus points if you include a picture. Double bonus points if it's one you made yourself (even in Paint).

X-Wing Alliance: Forces of the Dark Side by Zero Raven until 4. July The Competition will run for 4 weeks with different mission objectives for each week. Week 1) Melee Missions. No wave limit, craft limit up to 6. Pure fighter to fighter combat only. NPC fighters if agreed upon by the other pilots, however A.I difficulty should be appropriate to the level the pilots. Week 2) Combat Engagement. 1 wave of fighters per wing only. Craft limit may be up to 6. A.I Pilots only if agreed upon, A.I difficulty should be appropriate to the levels of the Human pilots. Week 3) Capital Ship Assault. 1 fighter wave, craft limit up to 6. A.I pilots if agreed upon by other pilots. A.I difficulty appropriate to the levels of the human pilots. 1 Capital ship per side, which the pilots must defend while attempting to detroy the opposing ship. No super capital ships such as the SSD. Week 4) Capture the Primary FG. 1 fighter wave, up to 6 craft limit. A.I if agreed upon by other pilots. A.I difficulty must be appropriate to the levels of the Human pilots. 1 Primary FG per side, craft limit of 6 for smaller craft. Mission orders set to disable and capture the primary FG. Please note that for each match submitted, a complete flight list should be submitted also. This should include which craft were used by which team, which spot was used by each craft, how many craft per flight group, how many waves, what A.I was used. For example: Team 1/ Slot 1: X-Wing 6 Craft/1 Wave, A.I. Novice. Player craft should also be listed as follows: Player Zero Raven, Team 1/ Slot 1, Craft X-Wing. Upon completion of a match, EACH pilot must send a screen capture of they're flight performance. This will show how many kills were obtained, how many times each pilot died and their total score, as well as if the Pilots team completed it's mission. Kills and total score for each game will be tallied, and the highest 3 pilots will recive from 1 to 3 points per position. I.E player with the highest will revcieve 3 points, while the player with the third highest will recieve 1. The points shall be tallied at the end of the 4 week period and appropriate awards will be given.

[Tarentum] TTD by Frosty until 30. May, 2011 http://www.darkjedibrotherhood.com/dbjedi/competition.php?id=5035 Tarentum Training Day is held every Sunday from midnight to midnight (EST Time) and in that day gamers from Tarentum are encouraged to game their hearts off in any SW. The best three players with the highest kills/ lowest deaths or best win loss of the day have the oportunity to win 5th level Crescents. The player with the most wins in a month earns the title of TTD champion and a place in Tarentum History. May the best man win!

[Tarentum] Tusken Raider Said What??? by Ji K'awiil until 31. August Once a month an image from Star Wars IV, V, or VI will be released with a Proconsul report. Write a caption for that image and submit it to Ji K'awiil (you don't have to actually make blurbs, you can just submit the words if you would like, though blurbs do = brownie points!). The funniest caption wins the contest!

I will be hosting 1v1 matches whenever asked for the next 2 weeks, and winning a match against me will earn you 1 point towards this competition! In this competition, participants will write a minimum 2 page, 12pt font fiction of their first experience with Kaerner's pirating business. Top three entries will be awarded 4th level crescents

[Specter] Quick Skirmish by Jagen until 21. June http://www.darkjedibrotherhood.com/dbjedi/competition.php?id=5069 As per regular training/initiation in the Spectre group, you've now been dropped in the center of a remote (forested) island on top of Yridia IV. Your objective? Escape with your life. You are alowed to bring with you: *Lightsaber or ONE Custom Weapon (DJK and above) *ONE Custom Weapon (JH and below) *ONE DC-15 side arm blaster *ONE Vibrosword/knife *In addition, you are also given one day's worth of food supplies, matches, etc. I want to know what happens on this mission. Including the wildlife you may see or fight, your journey out of the forested island, or perhaps just one main point that happened during the mission. Entries should be at least 2 pages long with 12pt font. (Longer is appreciated.)
