The personal valet to the Roll Master of Dorimad Sol knocked gently at the wooden door, then carefully opened it, balancing a tray with difficulty until he could get in. He stepped in, keeping his head down and moved towards a table that he knew from experience was to the side of the door. As he walked, glanced up and stopped in astonishment. Gone were the large pink sofas with huge squashy cushions, the thick pink carpet that had dominated the room, the pictures of the Roll Master's friends. The valet gazed at the room in dismay. The carpet had been replaced, presumably torn up to reveal the varnished floorboards below. Dark green leather seatees and two tall armchairs of the same material had been neatly placed at right angles. Large masterpieces hung on two walls and the rest were dominated by shelves of books, all bound in a red jacket. The valet looked round, utterly bemused before looking towards the desk. This too had changed, a thick varnished desk with a large leather swivel chair behind it. It being in shadows, he had not noticed the dark silhouette inhabiting the chair. The valet started, his heart thumping with apprehension,he moved towards the desk and bowed. "Sir, your milkshake." A silky voice caressed the valet "It is not time for milkshakes." "N-no sir? "No, it is mid-afternoon. You will kindly serve me afternoon tea. I shall leave it to you to decide which tea, it shall be your first test. Succeed and we will get along bonhomiously. Fail and you will not enjoy your service here. Off you go now." The servant scuttled off and the Falleen leaned forward in his chair, a smirk playing across his lips.
