Good Morning Brotherhood!

Got a lot to go over from the last month, so bare with me here as I get it all out. :P (this is the prepare for a wall of text message)

Firstly, I opened up applications for a new M:FIST position that was opened by Cethgus when I gave him Praetor. The main thing I was looking for in the applications was experience with MMO's and ideas that can be used for TOR when it gets finally released (rumor is now September, since round two of Closed Beta literally just started). Cethgus and I reviewed the applications, and several people stood out in our mind, but we ultimately chose Araxis, to fill the space needed. Araxis holds a vast amount of knowledge for MMO's and also has some interesting idea's for TOR when it finally gets released. Congrats Araxis.

Secondly, I've adjusted the training days to be all platforms on the second and fourth Saturday of each month. Now I've been saying this for months now, and Smoke did too before me. The reason these training days are important are for two reasons. One, the GMRG and to allow you to get the Savant in Tactics and Combat. Second, the DB will be broadening its horizons in terms of gaming. What does this mean? It means that we'll be doing more than just fighting each other. We will be going off to servers and to places where we can WTFPWN people. Now I've already asked the Halo gamers to switch their Service Tags to say DJB, as well as creating a Team for the SWAT ladder on Gamebattles.com. I'm digging around on the internet to find places where we can game against people in our main Star Wars games as well.

Third, if your part of my staff you know I have a calendar that literally plans out every competition, training day, special comp, and double CF days. I have planned Special Gaming Comps up until July of this year, as well as already having Competitions ready to go until the Indy Games in April. As for Double CF Days, I have those planned up until next year, they are going to be held on the 1st and 4th Sundays of the Month, as well as the 3rd Tuesday and Wednesday of the month.

Fourth, I know I haven't done stats since I was Praetor, but after having a little discussion with Halc, I've decided to bring them back. But, I'm doing it differently. I've created a Topic in the Gaming Forum that holds all of the stats for the last few months. Click here for stats

Here though is the general stats for last month:

Total Players for the Month: 35 Up 3 from Decembers' 32 Total Matches for the Month of January: 1056 Up 292 matches from December's 764

Fifth, Kir mentioned a few days ago about falsifying matches. Guys and Gals, don't do it. It's not worth getting the LoR and the ban from Gaming. I really do not want to ban anyone from gaming.

Lastly before I get into the competitions, I've updated the GMRG earlier this morning. The breakdown:

I'd let you all know who's at what Rank, but currently there's a bug on the GMRG page, and I can't see who is at what rank. Although I am at Rank V, so check out my dossier to see the sexy new armor.

To the competitions for the month!

[FIST]Halo Reach Tournament This will start this Saturday when I post Round One. I'm giving everyone until Thursday to sign up because we have 10 people that want to participate and would be nice to have more than that. :)

[FIST] BF2 Space Only This will be simple and self explanatory, play BF2 Space and get crescents for it but report under other gaming 1.

[FIST]RC Team Up Another simple and play competition. Get a friend and play against another team. 2v1 is considered a team match. Report under other gaming 1 as well.

[FIST]Special Gaming Event: Sins of a Solar Empire This has been a request of Reman's for a little over a month now, so dig out your copy of Sins, and get gaming. Report your matches under Other gaming 1 and EaW.

[FIST]StarCraft 2 Simple, play SC2 and get crescents. :P
