Here's another Quaestor report, in response to the changes in house summit and the AWOL check results.
Applications for Tarentum Aedile have been read and reviewed, and I maintain the right to choose my second-in-command before the deadline. I received some very strong applications, making it very difficult to choose an Aedile. However, I have made my decision.
Returning to a full summit position is Sith Bloodfyre-Tarentae, as my Aedile. He will be in charge of house announcements and activity records, as well as serving as my key advisor and successor in Tarentum. Please take the time to congratulate him, as I am looking forward to working more closely with him.
Due to applications being very strong, however, I feel that a new Rollmaster should be appointed. In contrast to the traditional role of Rollmaster as an archivist, the Rollmaster will be in charge of new members as well as the Master-Student Program in Tarentum. Therefore, I have selected Dralin Fortea to be my Rollmaster. Please congratulate him as well.
With new summit members, we will be working to restore some life back into Tarentum, as evidenced by the data below.
The results are in for the AWOL check, and Tarentum, once again, was hit hard. We now have less than thirty members in our house.
The results also make us the second smallest house in the Brotherhood, beaten for smallest by House Revan. I won't beat around the bush: Tarentum was, and is, in some trouble, and we risked closure. We can't afford losing any more members - we need to grow, not dwindle.
I advise those of you still around to become more active. Bloodfyre, Dralin, and I will be discussing the future of our battle teams, as well as a possible new strategy for new member retention. We need people around to support us as well as bolster our growth. I'm counting on you guys.
We are in the final week of the tri-house feud with Naga Sadow and Taldryan. While results are still being worked on for Weeks 2 and 3, I urge you all to participate in the Week Four events for Tarentum. In order to save space in this report, I will put the link to the events as written in the forums below:

Also, for those of you who missed it, the fourth chapter of "Burden, Distrust, and Loathing" is available to read. Check the link below:

The deadline for Week Four events is February 9th, at 11:59 PM ET. Given that our participation rates for this feud have been painfully low, let's change that pattern and get some submissions in.
As part of my attempt to get you guys active, I urge you all to check the competitions tab on the main DB website for DB-wide competitions. Voice Halcyon has new monthly fiction competitions up, which I highly recommend. One of those competitions actually lets you fight and possibly kill Jar Jar Binks - how can you refuse that offer?
Halcyon is also looking for a new Praetor and Magistrate, so check his latest news posting for details and be sure to send him an application if you're interested.
Also, for those gamers in our house, be sure to check out gaming opportunities. Fist Fremoc has several gaming competitions and tournaments going on, so as said above, check the competitions tab on the website or check out Fremoc's latest report.
Inspired by Eiko's report to Revan, I have decided to offer an opportunity for you all to present fiction or graphics in my reports. I submit reports at least monthly, so this will give you an ample chance to have your fiction read or graphics seen.
Why am I promoting this? Well, first of all, I'm a big believer in allowing everyone to have their character featured in their unit's fiction. So if you wanted to see your character do some hardcore stuff in Tarentum lore, this is a chance to make that happen. Second of all, I believe in collaborative fiction. If I end up liking your fiction and choosing it to present in my report, it could set up a new direction for our house's fiction and be tied into a larger overall plan so more than just a few of us are contributing to Tarentum's future storylines. Third of all, I always love graphics, so if you have artwork to show off, then by all means I'll put it up. I may be a bit hesitant to put up something like stick figures, however, unless I find it amusing.
Feel free to e-mail all potential fictional updates to my gmail account. This should be a good way to see who's active and willing to put in some effort to have their work showcased. I hope to see at least some kind of turn-out.
I am currently fighting a sinus headache and a sore throat due to an early onset of hay fever in Southern California, so please forgive me if I seem aloof or lethargic for the next few days. I will attempt to get back in shape in the next week, provided that my condition doesn't get worse. Wish me luck as I recuperate, and stay alive and kicking, Tarentum.
