Entering the main mansion at Petitor Umbrarum, the Field Marshal quickly made his way to the conference room that took up much of the first floor of the basement within the complex. Designed first as a home for the Shadowstalkers, Dante's estate had become heavily modified over the past year as the new staging area for his Nightstalkers. A combination of experienced Force users and younglings, the team had performed well in the various conflicts that Scholae Palatinae had been involved in since the clan had been turned into a house. The guards that flanked the main entrance to the room opened the doors and then came to attention as the commanding officer of the Imperial Scholae Guard opened the room.

Standing around the table were the six other members of the team along with various commanders of the main legions from around the Cocytus system.
Many of the Nightstalkers held high positions within the house's military so they were well aware of the consequences of not having this meeting. Dante nodded to the officers in attendance and said "Please be seated...." as he made his way to the head of the table. "Let's get started..." he grumbled as he waved the young officer, Captain Ubarra, over to the front of the room.

One of the house's intel officers came up to the briefing screen that showed a map of Judecca with the locations of all of the Guard's units on it.
Clearing his throat, the young captain began the briefing. "As you can see, we have positioned our forces near all of the strategic points on the planet. The same is being done on Antenorra and Caina as well just in case someone wants to take advantage of the shift in control from the Emperor to the new..." He paused for a moment as he looked around the room as he searched the proper term, and then "transition team" finally came out.

Ric raised his hand and said "Do we have a location on the former Emperor?"
The former Quaestor of Dorimad Sol had returned from his journeys around the rest of the Brotherhood, and he was now attempting to get back into the workings of the house.

Remembering that Ric still held rank in the Imperial Scholae Guard, Captain Ubarra shook his head and said "No, General.... the former Emperor hasn't been heard from since his brief transmission regarding his resignation. For all intents and purposes, this has been the smoothest transition in power in recent history for the Cocytus System."

The large man at the head of the table chuckled and said "So it has.... alright... ladies and gentlemen, return to your units just in case something goes wrong during the transition. I want us ready to keep this as peaceful as possible. Any protests should be put down quickly and quietly because I don't want another "The Cause" debacle occurring in this system.
DISMISSED!"

Current Status of the Team

Well, as can be seen in the fiction above, there has been a transition in power from Emperor Ood to Xen until a permanent Quaestor is named. Please be patient as the house's summit begins to come together over the next few weeks.

As far as our team goes, I have been tremendously impressed over the past few months. Our members have consistently placed in both Brotherhood wide events (RoS, Disorder War, Vocie, Fist) and House comps (Neutralization et al).

I'd like to welcome Von Rholar, Korvyn, and Ric back to the fold as they join/rejoin the team. We lost a few members (Cado, RH, Arch) to transfers, but I feel that we have a strong core of members to work with over the coming months.

I am open to any projects that you guys would like to work on. Our Team wiki needs some work, and I would love to get our fictional history going in relation to the various events that we have participated in. Please contact me if you are interested in these or any other work.
