This report is going to be relatively short. The first thing I want to announce is that the Operation: Hardware competition is still on going. The theme for this competition is blaster pistol or rifle and it can be a slugthrower, bowcaster, flechette, or a regular blaster. As long as there are specs drawn up on the weapon and a description of some kind, it will be considered in the judging. Details of the competition can be found here. The rewards for this competition are 1st level crescents and the opportunity to have your creation displayed for the DB. I look forward to seeing what everyone comes up with.

To kinda show what the rendition of people's entries can look like, I have designed some blasters for a side project I wanted to do. Enjoy this bit of sexiness.

We really haven't had a lot of requests of anything come in lately. Get active and work hard for that sexiness so we can make your dossier much tastier.

Orv asks: "There's a hole on the dossier that needs filling. What is the status of the Head Selector?"

I admit that I've started working on some templates of this but it's nothing I'm ready to reveal at this moment. An eye looks off center, shading looks like crap, and I refuse to bring crap to you guys. Until I have my stuff a little more tweaked out and sharp, I have nothing to show on my end.

That said, our very own Grand Master has been working on the more "Human" aspects of the face selector and a lot of that work has hit a bit of a snag due to viruses and various other computer-related issues. At this point, I would probably say we're at 30% completion, at best. Until Muz and I can gather our work together and hammer something out, this is my best possible projection on this.

Smoke asks: "Are guns going to be open to anyone?"

Right now, this sexiness is being used more as a teaser of things to come. With a fair amount of the Possession system images done, some of these newer items you're seeing are more for promotional purposes and to keep a reminder throughout the DB that this project is still on our minds and on our work desks. I've got another aspect of Possessions that I want to work on this weekend but that tidbit, I'm keeping under wraps.
