House Shar Dakhan Quaestor's Report

Good evening!

For the next two weeks, the forecast for the construction effort on Aeotheran is mostly sunny, temperatures in the lower 30's celcius, with a chance for rain middle of the second week. It's definitely time to pack some sunscreen.

In further news, the construction droids have finished erecting the employee lodgings as well as support structures, and our first businesses have made their way into Kel Rasha, supplying food, fuel, and entertainment for the workers putting forth sweat and effort to turn the city into something beautiful.

The Gilded Archipelago is nearly finished in regards to the underwater highways and the islands, and so far, the Executive Director's home is complete, to show off what can be placed there. So far, only three other islands in the single large mansion size have been claimed by the Dlarit corporation, so act today. In addition, construction has begun on three of the subdivision islands closer to the main city island, with residents being expected to be able to move in within the next two months.

For the time being, Dlarit is extending an offer of employment to anyone willing to put in the time and labor. Skilled contractors, plumbers, and electricians are needed, as well as general labor. Apply today!

One big piece of news, and another almost as big. First off, everyone congratulate Roxas on his appointment to Battleteam leader. He's taken over in Zeak's place after the former Sergeant had to step down and go rogue. I've said it before, but I'll say it again, House Shar Dakhan will always welcome him back as well.

Next piece of news, I'm looking for an Aedile. I know I said before I was gonna need a bigger workload before I picked one, but to be honest, there's no good reason not to have one now. It's not just a job to help the Quaestor, it's also a chance for me to train my replacement. With my recent quiet following an uncomfortable procedure, it got me thinking that I really did need to make sure HSD was covered if I had to go poof for a little bit.

Now, don't let that stop you from sending me things. It's been quiet lately, I'd love to have some work to do that isn't wiki related.

= The War =

It's coming. Perhaps not soon enough. The effects can be seen in Unrest, on the News Page, and the stirrings aren't getting quieter. Anybody else excited for this? I am. Of course, this is my first GJW, and I'm positively on edge. I'd love to see HSD pull the MVP in this. For you new folks, the thing to remember is, TRY everything you possibly can. The more established people can verify that for me. Do as much as you can.

One thing to remember about this too, are the Voice competitions. They lead up, and not only that, but you wind up in Vodo's memory, you get yourself known. These are good things.

Aside of my simple [Fortune] competitions, there's not much running in House, and that's purposeful. I don't wanna run a world of competitions and burn you all out so when the war hits, nobody wants to do anything. I might throw out a caption comp or two sometime soon, for some quick shinies.
