Right, its been one heck of a month for me since my job decided to make me work pretty much every day, but that’s finally over with.

First off, I’d like to thank and give a shout out to Dante for his service over the last 7 months. He’s helped keep me sane, while also being a voice of reason between Tyno, Araxis, and I. Thanks Dante.

Secondly, there were a few things that occurred this week in terms of legislation for gaming. On Monday, the Supreme Court ruled that video games will be protected by the U.S. 1st amendment under Free Speech. Secondly there has been legislation by Congress, giving hardened punishments for copyright infringement, aka pirating. Personally I don’t want anyone getting fined and sentenced to 5 years in jail, so don’t do it.

Going into gaming, as Halc posted, Steam is having their annual Summer Sale, and the full Star Wars collection is on sale for $50. Click here for full package info. I say get that while you can because it gives you all of the supported Star Wars games that we support with multiplayer. Also Alien versus Predator is on sale for $5 at Steam today, get it while you can.

The Old Republic is getting closer to release, with the recent news that Star Wars Galaxies will be shutting off its servers come December 15th. There's speculation of a August release, but I will guess for a October/November release since SWG is shutting down in December, and Mass Effect 3 being released in March. Bioware should be smart enough to allow enough time between TOR and ME3, but only time will tell on that part.

JO Mosh Pit: JO FFA matches are a go for this month. Yes members of Tal, that means Bryar FFA matches as well ;)

Killzone 3: 1v1 or team matches of Killzone 3 this month will net you shinies.

Beat up the Fist's Magistrate Dante: Like all my other "Beat 'em up" comps, this time it's Dante's turn. Challenge him, and try to win. If you do, you'll get shinies.

Gears of War: For this month only, I'm allowing Gears of War to be a playable platform for CF's. Some of you have requested Gears to be a supported platform, and I have heard you. You want it added, show me you want it.
