Looking back, there wasn't a whole lot done in August. I was usually successful at getting the Quote of the Week updated on time, so that's a depressingly minor victory. Some of the House/Clan member categories were cleaned out after the AWOL (Max helped with Plagueians). For anyone who has a wiki article for their character and does a clan-to-clan transfer (substitute indy house there as appropriate), try to remember to switch your category. AWOLs obviously won't (or they wouldn't be AWOL...), but there were a few active members that got shuffled around.
I did say that the Project Realism category would get cleaned up by "next report" last time, but apparently I lied. Vodo is too busy with GJW plot-y things (he stopped returning my calls, I don't think he loves me anymore). So, this time I make no promises on deadlines, but it's still on the list of things to be done.
New people making pretty shiny wiki articles for themselves is a good and happy thing. For those that have, good job! For those that haven't...did you know that wiki articles are a fun and easy way to meet some promotion requirements? I say "fun" and "easy", but I've never successfully done it...so the people that have are clearly better than me at fiction stuff.
DJBWikipedian of the Month for September 2011 - Kal di Plagia Vorrac
Featured Article of the Month for September 2011 - Arcona Army Corps
I cheated a bit on this month's Featured Article. By the rules I'm supposed to have 5 approvals with no objections, and none of the articles had close to that. But, enough about the past. There are two articles currently nominated for October's featured article, Sashar Erinos Arconae and the City of Kel Rasha. I'm sure the authors of both articles would appreciate any constructive feedback or support for their nomination since Dark Side Scrolls are so nice and shiny. If you (yes, you specifically...you know who you are) have any spare time, why not read over these articles and leave a comment on the Featured Articles page. Or, you know, you can add a nomination if you want. That's cool too.
There's GJW starting in September or something? Not that I know any more about it than everyone else, but all the cool kids are talking about it in their reports.
