House Galeres Collab Report #1/?

-- Introduction Fiction--
If one had an aerial view of the parade ground outside Forward Operations Base "Kurs'kranak", they would see why Clan Arcona and her warriors were regarded as the best in the Brotherhood. Standing at perfect attention and clad in their formal dress robes were two company-size formations, separated by a wide aisle in the center.
True to their military-like discipline, the two companies bowed from the waist as one when two more robed figures, the House Summit, strode by, their pace quick but dignified as they made their way up to the parade stage.
"My brothers and sisters," boomed the voice of Aedile Talos Erinos, "stand at rest".
When the Galerians had done so, the Aedile looked down at the front rank of the first company, the place reserved for Soulfire Strike Team, Arcona's elite:
"Knight Edraven. Play the Dread Lord's transmission" Talos ordered and Celevon Edraven, House Galeres' newest Dark Jedi Knight, broke away from Soulfire's line, bowed to the Quaestor and Aedile and then busied himself with the holo-projector that sat in front of the stage.
Thirty seconds later, the holo-projector came to life and a blue-washed image of Muz Ashen, the Dread Lord of the Dark Jedi Brotherhood, appeared. The Grandmaster was perched on the iconic Iron Throne, his ghost white hands curled over the black arm-rests.
"My Dark Brethren and Dark Sisters," Muz began in a fashion similar to the Aedile's own introduction, "I come before you today to give substance to something that you have all wondered about...all whispered about...and all craved..." the Krath trailed off, savoring the tension his words caused.
"My Dark Brethren and Dark Sisters...," Darth Ashen repeated, "I come to give you news of War!"
The Dread Lord's automated voice resounded around the parade ground, the sheer force of his words drowning out the rain that had begun to fall and the thunder that had begun to boom.
"From the time that I record this message and send it to the Clan and House Summits, you have 20 days until War knocks on our doorsteps. I do not dare to reveal the details over Brotherhood-wide channels, but rest assured that as the days tick away all will be revealed. Prepare yourselves, my Dark Jedi, in mind and body as well as spirit...for War is here and for some of you, this will be your first and for others...it will be your last"
The Grandmaster's voice and image winked out after those somber last words and all attention shifted back to the parade stage, where Quaestor Celahir Erinos had joined his deputy at the podium.
"There you have it...the Tenth Great Jedi War is on our doorstep" the Kiffar said simply to his amassed subordinates.
"I can only echo what the Dread Lord said," he continued, "in that we must take this time to prepare our mental selves as much as our lightsabers and our blasters. In no area can we fall short, for Clan Arcona has nothing to prove but everything to lose."
The Mandalorian slicer paused for a short breath before continuing:
"Five years ago, we showed the rest of the Brotherhood that we were the best...and now it's time to remind them that nothing has changed just because half a decade has gone by! We were victorious once before and we will be victorious again, we will sweep from the field of battle the lesser Clan Sadow and the pathetic Houses and we will cull the Grandmaster's favor not by the words that come from our lips, but the action that comes from our blades! We are the Shadesworn! We are Clan Arcona! We are the best...ARCONA INVICTA!!!"
At the last two words, Celahir reached into his robes and ripped out his lightsaber, thrusting the silver blade high over his head; immediately, his action was mirrored by Talos, who added his crimson blade to the Quaestor's, and then Sashar Erinos Arconae and Soulfire, followed by Cethgus Entar with his Revenants, the membes of Revenance Virtuom.
As if on cue, the whole assembly of Galeres brandished swords and ignited lightsabers. Weapons pointed skywards in a gesture of defiance. Pride. And a promise of victory. ~~~
-- Introduction -- Well hey there Galerians and welcome to the first ever Quaestor/Aedile collaboration report for House Galeres! Following in the successful footsteps of the Collab Reports that Celahir and Sanguinius put out when they were the Summit of House Qel-Droma, Celahir and I have decided to resurrect this awesome idea and therefore bring you all the news, awards, announcements, and promotions that you could possibly want...in one place! Now granted, these reports probably won't contain the laugh factor that their HQD predecessors did due to a formal warning from the Dark Council to limit the vulgarity, but hey we'll do our best!
Onto the real stuff...as even the slowest Dark Jedi (I'm talking Matt Adler level here) could probably tell from that sexy piece of fiction above , this report will focus mainly on the fact that Grandmaster Muz Ashen has given us a date for the TENTH GREAT JEDI WAR!!
September 25th, 2011...Sep. 25, 11...9-25-11...9/25/11...25 SEP 11...
As one can see, that date is now the most important thing in DBLand. So mark it on your calendars, or put it in your smart phones, write it on your hands or hell, get a tattoo if you want but just remember...
SEPTEMBER 25th, 2011 is the date for the start of...GREAT JEDI WAR X!!
As that date gets closer, you can expect the release of a number of details, encouraging speeches and warmup-type events to get you all pumped up, but for now...just remember the date. Be there and be a part of Arcona dominating the Brotherhood.
Now with that spiel out of the way, I turn it over to my boss, one of the founders of the original collaboration report idea...Celahir Erinos.

Wow...talk about a LOT of medals (Since my last report [the one not on the DB Database], you said the number of medals that Galeres has accrued is somewhere to the tune of 250, right Cel?)
So as you all can see, this House has kicked some serious toosh and for that, you all deserve a SERIOUS round of applause; as your Summit, Celahir and I couldn't be more proud of you all and as fellow Arconans, we're deeply honored to be able to call you all our brothers-and-sisters-in-arms.
Once again, kudos to each and every one of you, and I hope to see this kind of performance continue, if not spike, during the War! Which is when? Yes, September 25th

And here's that obligatory part of the report where we welcome new members and say goodbye to the ones who went crazy and thought that some other Brotherhood unit was superior to Arcona...psh. <div style="color:#FF0000">SCHEISSE!!</div>However, as it stands, this time I have the honor to report (no pun intended) that we have said 'goodbye' to someone (I mean, thing) that won't really be missed and said 'hello' to one of our most active rookies since Celevon Edraven.
The person we're saying goodbye to is none other than SCHEISSE...er, I mean Kazumi. Her exact reason for leaving, which made no sense whatsoever but has been somewhat translated by the master analysts in the Dajorra Intelligence Agency, cites the fact that the membership of Arcona are "immature and kiddish. And Scholae has adults". Obviously, this is BS (though we can be immature at times, I admit) but hey, to each their own. Everyone makes dumb decisions...some are just dumber than others.
On the bright side, the person we're welcoming is Soccora! Soccora is quite the Journeyman, other than the fact that she's a legitimate female on the interwebz (le gasp), and within a week of joining has passed quite a few SA exams, had her Character Sheet approved, and as such, holds the rank of Acolyte! So not only do we give her a hearty welcome, but also a big round of applause for hitting the ground running!

DBWiki Episode II: The Attack of Arcona
Ok, so because the Prequel Triology sucked in pretty much every area (except some noice fight sequences), I'm not sure why I'm referencing said movies in this report but I promise you that content of this section will prove much more interesting than the stuff that filled the prequel movies (like our cry-baby Anakin Skywalker).
Basically, what we have is one pretty nice achievement, one work in progress, and another article that has a chance at featured status. Read on! Arcona Makes the Featured List: That's right gents and four ladies, Clan Arcona finally has an had an article featured in recent time!! The article in question is the Arcona Army Corps, located RIGHT HERE was authored by moi, with that sexcellent DUI (Distinctive Unit Insignia, not any sort of law infraction for drunkeness...) created by the Quaestor of...that's right, Galeres!
Chugging Along: To continue the wiki awesomness, the wiki entry for House Galeres has, over the past week or so, seen a pretty indepth and hefty facelift. While it's not quite done, the shell is laid out and about half of the article, including the Roll of Leaders, the intro, half of the base of operations, history, and House awards sections have been modernized and brought up to wiki (and Arconan) standards of excellence. Work will continue in the coming days , with the hope that by War-time (September 25th), the article will be fully completed and thus accessible as a resource for House and Clan members to use when writing their character histories, fictions, or just want to learn the lore of the Warrior House of Arcona! If you want to take a look....
Oh, the Possibilities: The final entry in this section is a bit of a combination between a task and an announcement. In the wake of the Arcona Army Corps wiki page being featured, the ever sexy Proconsul, Dragon of Selen, and Big Blue Beast (Wuntila Zratian Entar) has nominated the character page of Sashar Erinos Arconae for featured status. Therefore, the task portion of this announcement is for you all to go to the wiki, skim (as reading Sashar's page will take up a lifetime..freaking vet), and then go to the Featured Article Nomination/Support page and add your support to Wuntila's and mine. This article is truly deserving of featured status and I truly am not just saying that because of any sort of Family/Clan bias.
Well, that's all I've got for you in terms of news from WikiLand. In short, just develop your characters, add your support to Sashar's featured nomination, and just have fun with it, as that's what the Wiki is there for! Back to you, Cel!

House Comps
This is a nice and easy fiction competition, detailing where I've been IC, while OOC I've been busy moving...THRICE....ends on the 16th so get those entries in to me and Talos.
Clan Comps
These comps are the SHIT! Created by yours truly (with some amazing help of Dashles, some of the finest bromance right there.), finally utilizing a long forgotten part of the Arcona website created by Orv the Codemeister himself. These puzzles will be released the 14th of September, I'm not sure which time zone. By that's not a big deal, the puzzles will be graded on time taken since you started them, so they're US and EUR friendly.
The puzzles can be found right HERE. Make sure to log-in before attempting them, and you'll also have to enter your credentials on the puzzle itself. Though I'm sure you'll all figure it out, none of you are called MattAdler are you? However, might you end up having problems, email me and/or pm me on IRC, and I'll see what I can do.

Above comps are DB-Wide, they hold some nice rewards, so it's worth to check them out, and if you have time and want to...AFTER YOU'VE DONE MY PUZZLES, you really should.
Right then, gentlemen and (few) ladies, we have one last section to finish off this report, before Celahir gives us a brief and sexy conclusion, and that is the progress of the current Clan RunOn "Communications Breakdown Part 2", which, for those that were involved in Part 1, picks up roughly 1 fictional month later and revolves around Arcona, now re-Clanned, fighting a war-like skirmish (is this a war?) against the Krikella Extraction Company.
Basically what's going is thus; Soulfire Strike Team (along with Thirteen, that's me!) is on Eldar doing all this really cool guerrilla shit and proving that you just can't beat us, no matter how hard you try. And trust me, these KEC fools tried really hard...they freaking dropped metal girders on us. I mean really, who does that anymore?
On the other side of the spectrum, we have Acheron d'Tana having a nice conference with Zandro, down in the super duper uber secret prison below the Citadel (also known as the Mothers Den) and also, we have seen Consul Zandro give Marick (Wally) and Invictus (Invictus) special orders to deploy House Qel-Droma on some super secret assignment. So secret that nothing has yet been written about it.
Well that's it for this Aedile! Once again, we (as in Celahir and myself) are super super proud of all you and honored to be able to call you, first and foremost, our comrades-in-arms, and second, our subordinates. We also apologize for the delay in getting this report out to you but nonetheless, hope that you enjoyed it and found some parts relatively funny (damn DC Vulgarity Ban -_-).
