<span style="font-weight:bold;font-size:14pt">Introduction</span></div>

The Arcona Family Feud is finally coming to a close, and we have a few months before the Independence Games. So what now? Now, we dig in and take the opportunity to do some housekeeping. There's a number of projects that your summit are working on, quietly and otherwise, to build up the substance and atmosphere of the House. Hopefully you'll begin to see those come to fruition over the next few weeks, though some are rather longer term. For those of you participating in Operation: [Redacted], you'll get your first tasks either later tonight or Monday evening. Everyone finally finished signing up, so it's just a matter of pairing people off in teams (those of you who didn't opt to work solo, that is) and setting up team leaders. Hopefully you all enjoy this and like where it goes.

Other than that, there isn't much going on. We've had a few position changes (detailed below), and there are a handful of competitions running (which you can also find below). Many of you have been busy with TOR (the medal section makes this pretty clear). Quite a few of you, though, seem to be taking the time to catch up with family and friends outside the Brotherhood - which, personally, I find to be great.

Seriously, though - by and large you all have made me very proud to be your Quaestor - and I'm sure you'll continue to do so in the future. So, before I get overly sentimental: on with the show!

_New Leaders (and Old)_ - In case you've been stuck in a cave somewhere, we've had a handful of position shufflings since my last report. To recap:

Socks has been entrusted with the position of Aedile.
Kalon has taken up the reigns of Void Squadron and is currently recruiting for new members.
Ninj (Zakath) has found himself stuck with you miscreants in Shadow Gate. May the gods have mercy on his soul.

Operation: _[Redacted]_ - Sign-ups have finally closed for this. We had a few last minute interested parties, so I extended them until today. Expect the first tasks to go out tonight or tomorrow.

_Battleteam Membership Policy_ - This isn't actually new, but I thought it bore reposting from the last report. Battleteams ought to be a bastion of activity within the Brotherhood. They are a great way to develop your character, and give you a close-knit group of peers you can turn to when it comes to growing within the Brotherhood. Too often, however, people grow complacent: satisfied to take up a spot on a roster and respond to the yearly AWOL check, but little else. While the Dark Jedi Brotherhood is a social community, and there are a great number of members I personally enjoy speaking with who do little else besides talk, that isn't the purpose of Battleteams. Battleteams are about participation, about advancement, about...duh, winning!  

After consulting with the Battleteam Leaders and Clan Summit, we have decided to implement the following policy effective immediately:


    - Continued Battleteam membership will require participation in at least one (1) competition per month.

    - The type of competition doesn't matter, nor the difficulty - it can be Brotherhood, Clan, House, or BT level.

    - Battleteam Leaders will track activity for their members and submit a report, monthly, on their respective activity.

This means you have to CC your BTL on everything!

<li>Members who fail to meet the requirement will be removed from the Battleteam, though they will remain members of House Qel-Droma.</li>
<li>Members on a declared Leave of Absence (as per the DJB Website) are exempted from this requirement.</li>

Please direct any questions or concerns regarding this policy to your Battleteam Leader, myself, and Wally. If you feel you can't meet this requirement for whatever reason, please let us know that as well. We love to have old friends (and new!) around, even if they don't compete - but since there are a limited number of spots in any Battleteam, we feel the need to reserve them for active members. I hope to see every one of your names on competition submissions this month!

_Arcona Family Feud_ - The family feud has come to an end - if you haven't read the [fiction](http://forums.darkjedibrotherhood.com/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=6547), I'd strongly recommend doing so. It's a doozy. Overall, I think the event was quite successful, and I'm curious to see what Sam comes up with for us next. In the meantime, myself and (for you icky Galereans) Sang have some things up our sleeves.  

_Aedile & Rollmaster Positions_ - Aedile and Rollmaster postings have closed for Galeres. Look for an announcement from the Summit in the next few days regarding the chosen winners.

_ACC Championship Ladder_ - This is set to kick off in the next couple of weeks, and should be a _Big Deal_. If you aren't signed up yet, sign up. All you need is a character sheet.
