Former Quaestor's Office Marakith Skyhook, Aeotheran Orian System

Having commandeered the old Ludo Kressh Quaestor's office for his time on Aeotheran, Locke sat in a chair behind it's desk, staring out at space and the curvature of the blue-green jewel beyond. He subconsciously touched one hand to his breast as he did so, feeling the spot where a slug had pierced his chest on the surface of the world below. Methyas's expert healing had saved Locke's life, but the wound would eventually require further attention.

Locke didn't have time for that right now. His mind was focused on the recent events: the attacks on Kel Rasha and it's spaceport, the prison break on Gamuslag, where Locke and Methyas had nearly been killed by Tsainetomo Keibatsu Sadow, for reasons Locke still didn't truly understand. What were the Son of Sadow's goals? Why had he been imprisoned. What information was Macron withholding? "What game are you playing, Consul?" Locke mumbled.

His thoughts drifted back to the terrorist activities on Aeotheran. Even now, agents of the Clan were investigating similar events on Tarthos. Locke had ordered Dlarit Special Operations Group intelligence operatives to analyze the data. They had to be coordinated. He wanted to know who their true enemy was.

As his thoughts continued to wander, he sensed someone at the door a moment before they knocked. "Come in, " he said, turning his chair back to face the desk.

An aid entered, saluted, and then set a datapad down on Locke's desk. He turned it on, reading a date and then the word "CLASSIFIED" in large letters. Under that was the title: "The Organization."

"What is this?" Locke asked.

"Something you need to see, Sir."

Council Meeting Undisclosed Location

The man known only as Councilor Nine watched as other figures blinked into existence one-by-one, statically-blue holograms in the dim light of the meeting place. They all had other names, in the real world, just as he did. They came from all walks of life, but here they were equals. They each wore thick, hooded robes that hid their clothing and faces. Though it was impossible to tell who was who, aside from height and build, Councilor Nine knew he was above most of them. Others might think that number indicated clout, but they would be gravely mistaken.

Finally, a small, aged figure stepped into the middle of the gathering. He was here in the flesh; rather than a holographic projection from some far away location. He had dark, leathery skin, exposed reptilian feet, and large pointed ears. His only clothing was a plain white lab coat, adjusted for his small stature. Councilor Nine knew that this creature, known to him only as Councilor Zero, was the leader of this group. If any knew the extent of their workings or the identity of everyone present, it was him. Councilor Zero wasted no time on formalities or idle talk, instead leaping straight to the reason for this meeting:

"Proceeded well, events in the Orian System have, " the Councilor began, speaking in the strange dialect unique to his species. "Struck at their leadership, we have. Vulnerable, they are. Proceeding well, our plans are."

There was no need to say who "they" were. Each individual knew the group they fought for control of the Orian System. They knew their capabilities as Force Sensitive Dark Jedi. Each hated them and all Force users, for one reason or another. They recognized that all Force sensitives must be destroyed. The Dark Jedi occupying this system were merely the test subjects in a much greater plan. Councilor Nine did not know the extent of that scheme, but he imagined it was vast. Councilor Zero had a brilliant mind.

"First, business to discuss we have. Failure in our midst, we have. Be tolerated failure will not." Councilor Zero gestured with his right hand, in the direction of one of the councilors. Their hologram suddenly showed them looking around frantically, before a vibroblade appeared in their chest and they keeled over, the transmission winking out a moment later. Councilor Nine suppressed a shudder, wondering if their leader had eyes on him as well. He would have to tighten security around his person.

Councilor Zero continued as if nothing had happened. "Step forward, Councilor Nine."

Shivering, Councilor Nine did as he was instructed. He bowed his head respectively, without speaking. No one spoke in Councilor Zero's presence, unless instructed to.

"Though the overall operation failed, success, subject six was. Oversee the direction of Project Rancor, you will. Fail, you will not."

Councilor Nine nodded. There was a shifting among the others. They all knew, vaguely, of what Subject Six had been: a genetically-altered human, much stronger, faster, and smarter than the average. She had failed in her mission, yet was considered a successful prototype. It was an honor to be given the task of leading the next phase of the plan.

As the meeting continued on, the other Councilors gave their reports, but Councilor Nine barely paid attention. His mind was already racing with plans and possibilities. The Dark Jedi of the Orian System had no idea what was in store for them.

As you can see from the fiction above, w're putting the wheels on a new fictional plot for Naga Sadow right now. Some of you may recognize characters previously involved in old plot-lines, but there will be new ones as well. What's going on here? You're just going to have to look for future fiction updates and events to find out!

In the meantime, the Worldwreckers topic is still going. The major events taking place in it are a good segue into our future developments. In addition, the topic is a good place to get involved in an active Runon. Worldwreckers is also a good topic to develop your own story with your character. You don't necessarily have to participate in something that's already going on when you post.

In other news, Alliance of Steel ended a couple of weeks ago. It didn't go as well as we planned, but we learned a lot from it and we're working with House Taldyran's Summit to bring our two groups future joint events. These will be more organized and better run. We'll keep you updated.

There's a lot going on right now. At the Clan level, Macron has announced that he is stepping down from Consul at the end of the month. Real life has hit him pretty hard. I hope you can join me in publicly thanking Mac for the work he's done for the Clan over the past several months. We really appreciate you, Macron!

In addition, Tsingtao Ming had to step down as Quaestor due to his own job's requirements. Atra Ventus has risen to the challenge of taking his spot. We expect great things from Atra. No pressure!

There have been some rather massive changes to the Dark Council as well. Kir Katarn has stepped down as Justicar, after doing a phenomenal job. In his place, Taigikori Aybara has moved over from Headmaster to take over the job of Justicar. Taigikori, hailing from CNS prior to becoming Headmaster, is an awesome, level-headed guy. I couldn't think of anyone better for the position. Kir Katarn has been awarded the title of Darth for his five years of service, one of the highest possible awards in the club.

Ronovi Tavisaen has taken over the job as Headmaster of the Shadow Academy. I've heard nothing but good things about her from her time as Praetor. I'm sure she will do a great job. Solus Gar has become her Praetor, so be sure to cc him on any concerns you have with the Shadow Academy. Speaking of which, 'd like to welcome Battlemaster Solus Gar and his apprentice, Jedi Hunter Teylas Ramar who have recently transferred into House Shar Dakhan from Clan Arcona. They're both active and Solus has years of experience with the Brotherhood. They're definitely a welcome and valued addition to the Clan.

Finally, the GM reports have begun including fictional updates that look like they're going to lead up to the next Vendetta, Horizons. Keep an eye out on them for future updates. Macron himself has helped a lot with the writing and planning for this Vendetta.

There's one last bit of info to mention. There will be an upcoming AWOL check. This is pretty simple. If you get an email from the Master of Arms about an AWOL check, follow the simple instructions and reply if you intend to be active. This is a way for the Dark Council to judge the activity of the 'Brotherhood and it keeps the rosters free of inactive members. If you want to stay on the roster, follow the directions in the email the MAA will send out, and you'll be fine. Don't worry, I'll remind you.

Once again, I'm going to list all activity since the last Clan Summit report, which was Macron's on 1/29/12. That's more than a month ago, but even with that in mind this is a heck of a lot of activity. There's a lot here, but I feel it's important to list because it shows just how awesome the membership of CNS can be. Great job guys!

How did those people get all those awards? Well, one way is through gaming, another is through helping out the Clan or the Brotherhood, and another is...competitions! As usual, I will link to them, and give a short description of what they're about. Remember that my descriptions are just a short summary; you should click the links for a detailed explanation of each competition. As usual, remember the Rites of Combat for all gaming competitions.

Competitions will be listed from closest end date to furthest. The soonest one, What Happened?, ending on March 14th. You'll also want to keep an eye out for reports from your Quaestors that refer to House competitions.

[CNS] What Happened?: This fun competition gives you a scenario and asks you to describe how it happened.

[CNS] Scenes from the Kel Rasha Spaceport: This is a graphics competition that gives you the chance to help describe an important location to CNS, while also being awarded for it!

[CNS] Terrorist Dossier: This competition ties into current events. Terrorists have been attacking CNS holdings, and this competition challenges you to write a bio for one of them.

Written by the Victor: This competition gives you the opportunity to take any encounter from the Star Wars movies and write your own unique take on how events might unfold.

[CNS] Incident!: In this competition something happens to you, but what?

[CNS] Doom Train 5: As with past months, Doom Train tracks all member activity and at the end of the month the three most active members are awarded for their activity. Remember to cc our Rollmaster, Teu Pepoi, on every competition you enter, to ensure that she can give you credit for it toward this competition.

Jedi Knight Ladder #1: The first round of a gaming ladder. All JA/JO matches played this month will count toward round 1. The top three get Crescents, in addition to the usual Clusters of Fire.

Republic Commando Shoot'em up: A simple gaming competition: Play Republic Commando. Earn Clusters of Fires. Win games. The top three with the most wins receive Crescents for the month.

These three TOR competitions don't start until March 15th and are currently pending:

[TOR Speed Run] - Black Talon HM: The title of this competition is self-explanatory, but read the details because there are important instructions there.

[TOR Warzone] - Overkill: This competition and the one that proceeds it both involving winning Warzones. As if this server needed more reminders that we're the best!

[TOR Warzone] - Unbreakable: Same as above, but for a different Warzone.

These last three are miscellaneous competitions running throughout the year:

Find My Lyrics!: Read Tra'an Reith's reports. Find lyrics, submit to comp. He's the Plagueis Quaestor, so keep an eye out for "Plagueis Quaestor Report" on the main page.

[FIST] End of the year gaming 2: Win a lot of games, and if you're at the top of the standings at the end of the year, you'll get a merit award.

#db trivia: Andrelious will be doing Saturday night trivia sometimes this year. This is more to raise awareness about that than anything.

Don't forget that this list did not include House-specific competitions. Those will show up for you under the "Stuff that matters to me" tab, when there are some actively running. Keep an eye on your Quaestor's reports for those.

Woo, that was a lot to go over, but it was definitely worth it.
