There's a variety of interesting happenings in the Dark Brotherhood at the moment. Operation: [Redacted] is in full-swing, and I have high hopes that it will go a long way towards revitalizing the fictional basis of House Qel-Droma. The teams are already set, but if you missed the chance to sign up and are interested in doing so, let me know and I'll try to work you into one of the existing groups.  

Wally and Ronovi were both made Arconae this past month. This is an incredible honor, the highest an Arconan can receive, and I'd like to extend a heartfelt congratulations to both of them.

Void Squadron's Commander, Kalon, made Dark Jedi Knight today. Congrats!

It's still a few months until the next major DJB event, the Independence Games In the meantime, we have a variety of activities going. You can, as usual, find all the details below.

Operation: _[Redacted]_ - As I said below, things have finally gotten going on [Redacted]. I don't want to give out too many details until we have a finished product to show everyone, but overall I'm quite pleased with those who have chosen to participate. Keep up the great work!

_Battleteam Membership Policy_ - Battleteams ought to be a bastion of activity within the Brotherhood. They are a great way to develop your character, and give you a close-knit group of peers you can turn to when it comes to growing within the Brotherhood. Too often, however, people grow complacent: satisfied to take up a spot on a roster and respond to the yearly AWOL check, but little else. While the Dark Jedi Brotherhood is a social community, and there are a great number of members I personally enjoy speaking with who do little else besides talk, that isn't the purpose of Battleteams. Battleteams are about participation, about advancement, about...duh, winning!
After consulting with the Battleteam Leaders and Clan Summit, we have decided to implement the following policy effective immediately:


    - Continued Battleteam membership will require participation in at least one (1) competition per month.

    - The type of competition doesn't matter, nor the difficulty - it can be Brotherhood, Clan, House, or BT level.

    - Battleteam Leaders will track activity for their members and submit a report, monthly, on their respective activity.

• This means you have to CC your BTL on everything!

  <li>Members who fail to meet the requirement will be removed from the Battleteam, though they will remain members of House Qel-Droma.</li>
  <li>Members on a declared Leave of Absence (as per the DJB Website) are exempted from this requirement.</li>
  

  Please direct any questions or concerns regarding this policy to your Battleteam Leader, myself and Socorra. If you feel you can't meet this requirement for whatever reason, please let us know that as well. We love to have old friends (and new!) around, even if they don't compete - but since there are a limited number of spots in any Battleteam, we feel the need to reserve them for active members. I hope to see every one of your names on competition submissions this month!

_Prestigious Advancements_ - We've had a bevy of advancements and accolades that bear mentioning over the last month. As I remarked on above, Ronovi and Wally (Marick) have both been named di Tenebrous Arconae, a title only a handful of Arconans have ever attained. It is a mark of their dedication and contributions to Arcona that they have been given this honor. Congratulations, guys! If that weren't enough, long-time Arconae Timeros Caesus Entar has been raised to the Dark Adept. He has worked longer, and harder, for the Brotherhood than most people have been members, and has finally earned his place among the Brotherhood's Elders. Congrats, Timmy!

_ACC Championship Ladder_ - The Championship Ladder is in high gear, with the first round complete and the second round half-way through. There are still weeks to go, but it is shaping up to be a resounding success. _Ambitions Run-On_ - The Order-based Ambitions Run-On has finally begun, with a half-dozen five-man teams preparing to duke it out for the best run-on submission. If you don't know what this is, you can find it on the forums. Go check it out!
