Corporal Reeves ran from room to room, before the other soldier gestured from across the hall. “Sir, over here!” Reeves hurried over, into an adjacent state room. Inside they heard groans. Reeves looked over and saw a man on the floor, his body covered by fallen rubble. Together, Reeves and the other soldier quickly uncovered him, finding the governor bleeding and barely alive.

“It’s okay Sir,” Reeves said, “we’re going to get you out of here.” He radioed back to the sergeant. “Sir, we found the governor, but he’s going to need assistance fast.”

The reply was muffled by the sounds of shouting and blasterfire. “Sorry Corporal, you’re on your own. The protestors broke through the gate.” Suddenly there was a loud noise.

“Sergeant?” Reeves asked.

The only reply was shouting. “Kill the bastards, that’ll show ‘em. Keep them back, for Dlarit!” Then the comm went dead.

They were far from out of this yet.

“Maybe HQ will send backup, “ the other soldier said optimistically, as Reeves tried to stop the governor’s bleeding.

Report

This will be my last report as I am leaving the DB......April Fools. Geez why did you all look so happy lol. First of the month, its time for another report.

Big news, with Mac’s retirement from Consul (good luck you did a great job for this clan), application were open for his replacement. Well in the latest GM Report our replacement was chosen. Our very own Locke Sonjie has moved from Proconsul to Consul, congrats! This however left the position of PCON open which after a quick discussion it was decided that one of the most helpful members of this clan step up to the position. Congrats to Teu Pepoi on moving up from RM to PCON.

The plot line is moving forward and the story seems to be getting more interesting. Read, read, read, read, read, and oh read. I want to thank our Consul who had the winning submission for the Overrun competition, todays fiction is an exert for his entry. Also I want to thank Bob for submitting as well and placing second. Unfortunately those were the only two submission I got. This saddens me as not only was this competition a simple fiction but it was a great chance to help you house. I will have another competition inspired by the storyline out shortly I hope for a better turn out.

I only got two submission last month for my Report Quote competitions. Thank you Locke and Kairus for the submissions, your awards are in the mail.

AWOL Check is underway. The MAA Office is sending emails with links to your individual AWOL Check-in. Once you get the email make sure to click the link. But in all seriousness this is important to gage how many active members we have, so if you plan on just coming out of the shadows to click the link then go back and not be active than you are hurting the unit as much as someone who is truly AWOL.

Locke has sent out a Proconsul Report, before he got Consul, go read! GM Report is out. Alot of other DB news to read as well, but I’d wait until after April Fools, the site is all f**ked up.

Activity

Lots of activity again, here are some highlights:

• As usual a ton of Clusters of Fire have gone out to a number of people for gaming in TOR. Keep kicking ass!
• Pendant of Blood was awarded to Kalia, Araxis, and Valdrane twice, awsome job!
• Kairus was awarded a Crescent with Emerald Star and Quartz Sar.
• Before leaving us for HSD Atra was award an Emerald Star
• Tibs was awarded a Crescent with Topaz Star
• Jeric (I) was awarded a Crescent with Emerald Star and a Amethyst Star
• Bob was awarded a Crescent with Sapphire Star and an Emerald Star.
• Welcome ACO Amagon to the House
• Congrats to APP Godarrow who was promoted to Novice
• Kairus passed Sith Core
• Jeric passed CoJ1 and earn his Dark Savant Leadership and Communication Degree!
• Amagon passed GMRG History, Planets and Stars, and ACC Basic, good job!
• Kalia passed Combat Tactics 1
• Kooorwemiensta pased Combat Tactics 2

Conclusion
