Our competitions for this month are something I’m very excited for!

Cantina Tales A lot of interesting stories get told at the bar. Old friends sit down to share a drink and often times begin sharing more than that. People in our positions often lead adventurous, exciting lives that come with interesting and humorous stories. Write a short fiction, no longer than 1500 words, that describes your character recounting a funny story to a friend. Third level crescents to be awarded.

Infiltration It is imperative in conflict to know the precise movements and constitution of the enemy, Often this can be done with long range reconnaissance and electronic surveillance but at times these are not options and one must resort to baser methods. You and your team member are to draw up a detailed Battleplan describing your plans to infiltrate the enemy's defenses, networks, and retrieve all the valuable information available. For Dark Jedi you will be planning espionage on the Jedi Council of New Tython. Jedi will be asked to stealthily penetrate the secrets surrounding any of the Dark Jedi Clans, Houses, or of the Dark Council itself.

All Battleplans must be written from the third person as a pre-mission outline of the goals, objectives, and mission parameters to qualify for placement. The Battleplan may contain anything the team considers relevant to their mission planning in a written, graphical, rendered, or creative manner. This is a VOICE-Hosted competition. Entries will be judged by DJK Akatsuki Tamalar (12363) Second Level Crescents to be awarded.

Dark Side Jams For this competition the prompt is simple but the challenge is incredible. Create a song from scratch that in some way involves the Dark Jedi Brotherhood. It can be about your character, the Club, another member, your Clan or House, etc.

Specifications: -Song must be at least 2 minutes long -Song must include lyrics written entirely by you -Musical accompaniment must be entirely original. Sampled edits of existing songs will be considered as long as the piece as a whole reflects a new work -finished piece must be in .wma, .mp3, or .mp4 format and able to play on my iTunes to be eligible for judging. -The file should be named in this format "song title - DJB name and pin.filetype" or .mp4 format and able to play on my iTunes to be eligible for judging. -The file should be named in this format "song title - DJB name and pin.filetype"

Please send a text file containing all lyrics for the judge. First level crescents to be awarded.

Remember that all entries must be send to [Log in to view e-mail addresses] to be valid. The File must contain your pin at the very least in the filename and in the file itself to be eligible for judging. We can and we will toss entries that do not conform to these simple rules. First time offenders will be given a gentle push in the right direction. Second time offenders will answer to Anubis. He gets very cranky.
