Woo wikis. And Wednesdays. So...what to talk about this time? In Muz's last report is he was asked about competitions involving the Wiki. If you've got a good idea, please don't be afraid to come to me to talk about it. I don't really run anything myself, but I'm happy to help out with good ideas <span style="color:#AAAAAA; font-size: x-small; font-style:italic;">plus, it makes me look useful</span>.

Just a small reminder that wiki articles are supposed to be something resembling an encyclopedic entry. Third person, neutral tone, and all the rest of that. That fiction you wrote for one of the monthly topics is going to need some work before you can post it. Imagine a deep-voiced narrator describing what happened <span style="color:#AAAAAA; font-size: x-small; font-style:italic;">while drinking scotch and sitting in a large chair while wearing a smoking jacket</span>.

Looking for something to do? Consider taking in the sights and sounds of "outside". Then get sick of that and fix up some wiki articles. We have Imageless articles that could maybe use a little attention. Or check out the articles marked for quality control. Or maybe, just hit a random article and see if you can improve it. Wiki-ing is just that easy <span style="color:#AAAAAA; font-size: x-small; font-style:italic;">and so much safer than the out of doors what with their weather and animals</span>.

• DJBWikipedian of the Month for March 2012 - Drodik

• Featured Article of the Month for April 2012 - Brotherhood-class Star Dreadnaught

DJBWikipedian of the Month is Drodik, for doing a bunch of things with that icky lightside stuff. I cheated and just took the Brotherhood-class Star Dreadnaught as featured article, because I have a soft spot for nice spaceship pages and there wasn't any movement on the other nominees.
