Dranik stood in the CIC as he watched the ships fly back and forth on the holo display. Each of Tarentum’s ships were represented in blue while the confirmed enemy ships were shown in red and the neutral ships of the shipping lane were all yellow. Of course the yellow ships were scattering away from the scene of the action and jumping to hyperspace as soon as they could.

Dranik pushed a button on the controls that were in front of him, keying the ships intercom system, “Search and recovery teams stand by.” Dranik announced as he saw quite a few of the blue ships disappear from the screen followed by a few red ones. New alarms sounded as the ships sensors picked up bombs heading towards it before he could say anything at all he heard Commander Cadran issue the order “Point defense, target and destroy incoming projectiles, main batteries focus Fire on that Corvette.”

Dranik turned away from the map and reached out with the force to monitor things a bit closer, he could feel the damage to the Corsair as a few of the bombs slipped through and impacted her hull, along with the constant blasts from the CR90, but he could also feel that a few more good hits would be the end of the Corvette as well. Dranik felt the explosion in the force long before he felt it rock the Corsair as the Corvette went up in flames and exploded peppering the Corsair with debris as the ship thrust forward and her main batteries broke up most of the larger debris before it could get close to the hull.

“Search and recovery teams are reporting back in now Sir, Only one live body has been recovered of our pilots lost.” Commander Cadran reported and Dranik just nodded as he turned to survey the holo map that was showing the location of the ships.

“I want full damage and loss reports within the hour! Send a request for the Doomsday to come and help with recovery of scrap and Hold Station until she arrives. Send word to the remaining pilots that they are to stay close to the Corsair and we will return together.” Dranik ordered as he started to pull up information on the screen to see exactly how badly his ship had been damaged.

REPORT TIME

So, welcome to another Aedile report for House Tarentum. I have a few things to discuss before moving on to other things. Firstly I would like to send out an official congratulations to our new RM Hazzan for not only being selected to serve as RM but for getting his Promotion to Sith Warrior. Getting your EQ1 Promotion is a big deal and he should be buying us all plenty of drinks over the next few days to celebrate it.

Also it occurs to me that I never did officially announce this. But House Militray revamp project is still underway and if you are interested in serving in the Military you should send an Email to myself and Hazzan. The Tarentum order of battle page has been updated to reflect the new commanders of the ships of the fleet but I am going to announce them here.

The Following members have been granted the rank and command listed: Captain Scion Altera, Commanding Officer of the Magnus Kaerner Captain Apollo, Executive Officer of the Magnus Kaerner Captain Dranik Tarentae, Commanding Officer of the Corsair Commander Ailsa Cadran (NPC), Executive Officer of the Corsair Commander Jason Hunter, Commanding Officer of the Doomsday Commander Tor’Fel Hazzan, Deputy Commander Air Group

So as you can see from this list, there are still plenty of positions available, the entire Army is up for grabs, along with Three Capital ship commands, a few XO positions, and Squadron commander positions. If you are interested you really should email us and let us know so we can assign you somewhere (You should also tell us what you are interested in doing within the Military if you wish to serve).

DIVERGENCE

Now as Anshar said, we put on a short delay to give everyone a break and then real life got in the way of him. As soon as we get our fiction finalized for the next chapter we will release it. I will say that the next chapter will have a run on in it, so everyone should participate in it, they can be a lot of fun. If anyone would like to read what actually happened at the battle for the Pirate attack event, let me know and I will send you a copy of Scion’s winning entry. Of course, Hazzan may be ticked that we lost a few of his fighters, but we will get those replaced as soon as possible ;p

Pirate Attack: Scion took first place and Jason took second, there were no other participants. Crossword: Jason took first and Scion took Second, there were no other participants. Graphics: No Participants. Investigation: No Participants (that I am aware of).

Anshar will announce finial standings for this chapter in his report along with a running tally (I think) of the overall score for each person who has submitted so far.

AWOL CHECK

Now, all of you should have gotten an email from the MAA about the AWOL check, if it didn’t appear in your inbox you should check your spam folder. If you don’t see it at all, you need to email the MAA like, now. This will be ending very soon (if it hasn’t already) so you need to read that email and follow its instructions or you will find yourself out of the House. As of right now the House stands at 32/71 (45.07%) members responding, I would love to see that number break at least 50%, at the bottom of this report I will put a full list of everyone who HAS NOT responded and that needs too.

The Old Republic

So, I have gotten sucked into the black hole of what is known as SWTOR. I am a Community Helper on the Republic side so that means that I can invite people who wish to come over to our side of the game. My main Character’s name (and the one that I am on most of the time) is Ailsa (yes, I stole the NPC’s name who is my ship’s XO) so if you need an invite to the DB guild for the republic side, feel free to send me a whisper if I am on (which I am most of the time if im not doing other things). Of course, the game is down today cause of them screwing stuff up but it is what it is.
