Spectre Cell

Hey there all. Kindly try and bear with me, as this is my first report. Apologies on the lack of a header. I designed one, but I don’t know how to insert it in. Tried and failed multiple times. -.-

Firstly, I’d like to welcome the five members of the newly instated Battleteam: Spectre Cell. These people are as follows: Talos Erinos, Kratus Vahillus, Valhavoc, Anigrel and Xel Jen’ari. We still have loads of room for more members, so I welcome anyone who wants to join (If you’ve reached the appropriate rank, of course. ;))

For those of you who haven’t heard, Spectre Cell is Galeres’ newest battleteam specializing in...well...special ops. Advanced recon, assassination, infiltration, all the good things in life, we do it all. [Insert Sexual Joke Here Wally :P]

That said, anyone, and I mean anyone can join, so long as you have a desire to grow yourself in the Brotherhood and, more importantly, within Arcona and House Galeres.

… Wait, why am I saying this? It’s not like anyone will read this report. Meh. Anyway.. :P

As I can’t think of many more flowery words, let’s get right to it.

:Awards/Medals:

In order to save time, I’ll just write up all the awards/medals in a single line.

-Valhavoc: has spammed my inbox with so many Cluster of Fire requests that I honestly have lost track of the amount. Three Pendants of Blood, One Crescent with a Ruby Star.. And a partridge in a pear tree. Just kidding. ;) Congrats, Val. He has also received an Anteian Cross for his dedicated service.

-Anigrel: Sixteen Clusters of Fire, One Crescent with Sapphire Star and One Crescent with Emerald Star. Good going, Ani. :) Anigrel has been awarded a Dark Cross for taking the Shadow Academy by storm. :P

-Xel: Crescent with Quartz Star. Not bad for your first competition. ;)

-Kratus: Crescent with Topaz Star. Loved that fiction, mate. :)

As a side note, the final two are from my Spectre Cell Initiation Competition. I may have been slightly upset that there were only two, but they were pretty well written nonetheless.

:Promotions/Shadow Academy Stuff:

-Anigrel: Promoted PRT to GRD; Advancement Survey, Lightsaber Studies, Hand to Hand Combat, Advanced Lightsaber Studies as well as Combat Tactics I & II all passed. For this, Anigrel earned the Dark Maven of Combat. playfully wipes a tear He’s obviously first in this list with the most to write down. :P

-Valhavoc: Sadly, I can’t recall if he was in Spectre Cell for his promotion from PRT to GRD. He was, however, with us for his promotion from GRD to JH. Val has also passed Lightsaber Studies. Congrats, mate. :)

-Xel: Promoted ACO to PRT; .. I thought Xel had taken a few exams since he’s been in SC, but I guess I was wrong :P Good job on the promotion, anyway. :)

-Kratus: Retook the Sith Core Exam and passed (again). Nice going, mate. :)

:Projects:

As of this moment, I have several ongoing projects. Two of which deal with the Dark Brotherhood wiki. I will only mention that I am expanding the Spectre Cell Wiki Page to include the current Roster as well as miniature dossiers on the cover aliases of said members. Many thanks go to Kratus for giving me that idea. :)

Members should expect several competitions to show up within the coming weeks. Ideas for those are the other ongoing project. ;)

Seriously, though. Most of my current projects would take far too much time to explain and I’m being lazy at the moment. Boringly common stuff. Working on fictional variant of how each member was approached to become a member of the Battleteam, stuff like that. What little of my time is not being spent on work, in all honesty, is going towards listing ideas for competitions to keep the lads happy. :P

:News:

The Antei Combat Centre 5th Championship Ladder is still running, though it is now approaching the Fourth Round.

I’m also a bit of an idiot when it comes to finding the appropriate links to other reports on the main site. Be sure to check out Anubis’ Voice of the Brotherhood Report. The two fictional competitions he gives the details on are looking good. As I stated before, even if you don’t get a shiny for placing in them, the writing itself is good practice. Be sure to have someone proofread your entry and CC your House/Clan Summit and Masters (If Applicable).

Well, I’m off to work shortly, so I’ll make this short and sweet. I’m honoured to have been chosen to take on this position as Obelisk Sergeant of Spectre Cell. Many thanks to those who put my name forward as a recommendation to lead this new (And shiny ;)) Battleteam. I should have at least two competitions being released by Wednesday, the 25th.
