The Knights of Odan conglomerated at the base of the of the stone steps leading up to the Halls Of The Watchmen. It was a beautiful day with temperate feel in the air and birdsong pecking at their ears. The stone steps ended in dirt road several meters wide. The dirt road itself was flanked by a wall five feet high constructed from fieldstone, remnants of Harakoas ancient glacial periods.

The Jedi looked on at the top as the High Council of Urr lifted the veils off of two monumental structures flanking the grand stairs. The statues themselves were impressive, they were placed facing one another, their gazes penetrating the consciousness of any who tread the steps to the Jedi temple. Facing the temple, the left statue was a beautiful rendering of the Caamasi Jedi Ylenic It’kla who propagated what would become the Knights Of Odan-Urr. Facing him across from the expanse was the Gand High Councilor Ji, the founder and champion of House Odan-Urr as well as former apprentice to Ylenic.

Cheers of applause came from the Odanites as they immediately recognized the stone figures staring at them. In the distance an ominous sunset subsided beyond the construction at the Praxeum.

AWOL Check- The recent AWOL (Absent Without Leave) check concluded a week or so ago. Our 63-ish roster was reduced to 37. I want to thank everyone for logging in and deciding to stay a part of Odan. We’re still the underdogs of the DB so we’ve still got a lot of ass to kick. I know that’s not very Jedi-like thing to say but eh.

Run-On- The run-on signups are relatively closed, if you’re still interested and have not signed up you can go do so on the forums but we should be starting relatively soon. I’d recommend if you haven’t ever participated in a run-on before that you take the Run-On studies course at the Shadow Academy and scour the forums for other run-ons to get the idea.

This run-on will be semi-guided alright. There will be a few rules and parameters but nothing imposing on the fun. So far the members we have signed up are: Cassandra, Elleron, Xaezhul, Agnan, Kaira, Guin, and Lu’aisha.

Lightwalkers- I guess it has come to my attention that there really hasn’t been much of any heartbeat coming from the Lightwalkers battleteam lately. Activity levels have dropped off drastically and hardly anyone has fulfilled their monthly requirement to remain on the team. If you’ve failed to maintain your agreed to monthly requirement contact Kaira.

I realize, and I hope you all do as well, that the DB is a VOLUNTEER organization and your participation should be for the absolute fun and joy (or whatever optimistic reason) you want of it. Whatever sense of duty you have toward the house shouldn’t diminish from your responsibility to yourself to have a good time. If you’re not having fun please tell me, or Ji and Moro immediately, you may be suffering from burnout :P.

Bastions Of Knowledge- Morotheri has written an excellent fiction foundation for the lead in to the upcoming run-on. The main quest objective for the Run-On will stem directly from the latter half (as yet-to-be released) of the Bastions Of Knowledge event. If you’re participating in the run-on I highly suggest you read the first bastions installments and familiarize yourself with the current going-ons (Pillars Of Menat, the new Praxeum in Menat) in the house canon ok.

Next Major Story Arc- The second story arc (sequel I guess to Pillars) is in the works right now. The story itself and the direction will be directly impacted by your involvement in the run-on and associated fiction competitions. I’ll have more information to release to you guys once the run-on gets started.

School and work have been pretty taxing on me lately but things have let up a lot so expect a few random competitions. I also wanted to ask for feedback.
