Short report this month.

Yesterday, ToR announced it is going Free to Play coming this Fall. For having your account open up until July 31st, you will earn 200 cartel coins for each month you paid for, which will be allowing you to buy items and other things. Meanwhile they are still supporting the paid subscription which will give you access to everything in the game. To read more: Click here

With this though we still have roughly three raid groups going through the raids every week, as well as rated warzones every Wednesday night. We are trying to get people to form another 8 man rated team so that on the weekends we can both queue up and start getting our War Hero gear.

On Formspring someone asked me this question: With TOR going free-to-play, there are many concerns about the game collapsing. Will this impact the DJB's commitment to the game? Also, now that there is an option between free play up to lvl50 and paying for ops and pvp is this gonna shuffle our focus?

Honestly, its still a Star Wars platform, it will have its uses for CF's, vendettas, and competitions. I've already talked to a bunch of the regulars that we have and they have said they will be stay, and even keeping their full subscriptions. So there will be a core group still active in the ToR guild. I don't see us leaving ToR until the game is officially dead.

As for shifting our focus, I don't think we will. We will probably still remain heavy with ops as well as heavy in warzones. More than likely, like all things, that will change when it actually is launched this fall. That does include going over the CF rewards and such as well.

TL:DR -ToR going Free to Play -Need people to do rated Warzones -Someone asked a question to me on formspring for once -ToR will stay supported, possible CF update after Free to play launched.
