Shtuff:

Today marks one year since I joined the DB. I've met a ton of people and made some amazing friends here, have learned quite a bit about the Brotherhood, recruited folks into it myself, and I've taken up several positions on the Arcona Summit so that I can make sure others are enjoying this place as much as I am. Hopefully I have accomplished that goal.

In the last few months several individuals have stepped up in HQD and taken on Summit roles as well. Scelestus, who was SG BTL, is now our Aedile. Andrelious/Lenzar/Mark is the Shadow Gate BTL, and Cethgus/Stu is our Void Squadron BTL. Together these guys help shape what HQD is: a fun place to be.

For those interested in joining a Battleteam, allow me to briefly explain what these BTs are. Shadow Gate is a black ops unit of Dromans called "Gatekeepers" that operate under deep cover aliases and work to keep the interests of Arcona secure on the Port Ol'val Shadowport hidden in an asteroid in the Dajorra System, where HQD resides. Void Squadron is an elite starfighter squadron. Void is our "Gaming Battleteam" with several gamers composing the roster. If you are interested in joining a BT, don't hesitate to talk to any one of us about it! BTs give members a fictional identity and even more opportunities to participate in activities.

To answer a question by Cethgus, right now we are working on a few things that should keep everyone active until Horizons launches. We may not have another "event" but there will be plenty of things to do. Some of the competitions being written up right now are quite interesting, but I won't spoil the surprise. :)

Thanks to the hard work of Graus, HQD officially has a write-up of the base where the House is located on Port Ol'val. As his Summit Task for DJK he was tasked with working on just a segment of Port Ol'val, but went five steps further and took to the HQD wiki as well, which was severely out of date. We now have a full description of the base as well as hand-drawn schematics still in the works. I invite everyone to head over to the wiki and see just what he has been up to. Thank you, Graus, amazing work!

House News:

Andrelious has finished running a "Dozens of Games" weekly competition ladder, and our own Scelestus won 1st place, with Strat and Snabbie in 2nd and 3rd.

In my last report I had mentioned that Ginnafae, now known as Graus (or Dan), had come out of Rogues and transferred to HQD. I'd like to add to that now not only has he done so, but he is now officially a Dark Jedi Knight! Absolutely well-deserved.

On top of that, Incendus is now a Jedi Hunter as well. Wow!

Legorii has moved on over to Galeres to help out Sang as his Aedile. I think both of those gentlemen are Dromans at heart, but in the end we are all Arconans regardless of what House we reside in. While it is good and fun to compete and rival the other House, we also need to remember to support one another.

Clan News:

Trials of Loyalty is over, with final awards still being given out. I have to say, Team Expendables did a remarkable job. Sarin and Raken (along with Val of course) came out of nowhere to sweep up the team awards and many of the individual ones. Amazing job! I've seen some of the entries and I was floored and even inspired at the detail and hard work put into them.

Along with them were many other Dromans that participated, and ya'll deserve recognition for it. We had around 25 clan members submit to TOL. That is insane! All of you are responsible for making this event a success. I couldn't be more proud.

Some recent big DB-wide scores: Timeros won CHL, Scelestus won Debates, Socks won Ambitions RO, Cethgus won 1st for FIST: Curbstomp the Gamers 3.

Lastly, I would like to remind everyone that Clan/House/BT communication is done via the Arcona Google Group. Reports and announcements are pushed through there, so if you do not receive these emails, you are missing out on just about everything. If you need assistance getting these emails, we will gladly help you out.
