Jusadih System Kapsina The Dark Tower 36 ABY

_The shutters of the office had been closed against the searing sun of Kapsina. Apart from a desk lamp the office was completely dark. Hunched over the desk was the new Rollmaster of Pagueis, Krath Priest Kodais Solatus.

Kodais poured over the datapads, documents, and parchments that littered the desk. He had taken over for his predecessor, Starrett, in the middle of a feud with Clan Naga Sadow and House Scholae Palatinae, then had to deal with the Purge of Satal's Landing. There was much that required his attention.

Though the feud and Purge were over with there was still the Intelligence Directorate to deal with. Starrett had left it in a sorry state; agents had been compromised, security had multiple breaches, and there were reports of moles in the ranks.

Presently Kodais sat back in his chair to stretch his back and rest his eyes. So much to do. On top of the logistical stress of the times the Quaestor and Aedile had shared with him their visions of the cataclysmic end of Plagueis. Though the exact mechanism of destruction was unknown to him, there were things that Kodais could do to narrow the possibilities. To that end he pressed a button on his desk. Immediately his secretaries contralto voice came over the intercom, "Yes, sir?"

"Send in Captain Haggen," Kodais answered.

A few moments later a short man smartly dressed in his Directorate uniform stepped into the office and stood before the desk. His demeanor was calm but alert as he saluted. "Captain Azmir Haggen, reporting as ordered."

Kodais did not return the salute. He merely had the captain stand at ease as he issued his orders. "Take a phalanx of no more than twenty of you finest to Shintera and capture Mike Tamkin."

The captain's eye's widened slightly at the command, "We found him, sir?" The head of Kogron's Raiders and his band had been responsible for dozens of attacks on Regime materiel resulting in billions of credits worth of damages over the past year.

"Indeed," he said as he handed the captain a datapad, "You are to capture him alive, but also falsify his assassination. You will find details for the mission on that datapad. You will report to me only regarding this operation. Good luck, captain. Dismissed."

With that Captain Haggen saluted and departed from the room and Kodais went back to his work. Not but ten minutes later a cold yet familiar presence fell upon his mind. In an instant the Priest was on his feet with his lightsaber in his hand. As silent as death itself a shadow slid through the door.

"You don't need that," said the shadow. The words stuck Kodais like a rabid wompa.

"Unus," he breathed, "I thought you were dead."

"Not yet. I come here to offer my services."

"Truly," asked Kodais, "In that case, I happened to have a job for you. I need you to go out into the galaxy and locate weapons for the House."

"What kind of weapons?"

"Big ones."_

A Call for Masters and Students As I'm sure you're all aware I am responsible for Master-Student pairings. If anyone wants a Master of Student all you have to do is email me. As it so happens, Garloaf has asked me for a Master. All you Equites out there without an apprentice, now's your chance! Helping and mentoring a member to Dark Jedi Knight is an important duty and one of the most fulfilling you can accomplish. Additionally, having a Master can make getting promoted much easier and faster.

Taskmaster Applications With my promotion to Rollmaster the position of Taskmaster is now vacant. It is my responsibility to find and appoint a new Taskmaster to take over and act as my aide in helping the Journeymen of the House.

Requirements: 1) There is no rank restriction for this position. I do however require the applicant to be fairly well versed in the DB and familiar with its workings. 2) 72-hour turn around time for emails. 3) 30-60-90 plan (While this doesn't have to be terribly detailed I do need to know what you envision for the position.)

The applications are now open and will close on October the first. If you're insecure about applying, you'll never know unless you do. If you apply but don't get selected I will be more than happy to give you feedback. Such things are important for growth.
