Double rainbows and shit!

That's right time for another report from your Aedile. Or your soon to be Quaestor. That's right you read that correctly, while Socorra and Wun are away we are going to be removing them quietly in a little coup that we have given the code name 'move4powah'.

Haha, that's a joke, obviously, just trying to get your attention. Now, on to serious news...

Aedile for House Galeres applications are closed and we expect an announcement on who the poor sap who got the post is shortly.

Also, of course, we finished up the Vendetta: Horizons recently, and official awards are going out to the winners. Members of the HQD battleteams will also note that there have been additional merit medals given out for exemplary participation. The requests have been submitted to the MAA office at the time of this report, so an early congratulations to all of you that are about to get some new shinies.

As you probably already know, we are gearing up for a feud that will likely start near the end of November and run through to the end of the year or so. This means that you need to start getting ready and pool ideas of cool submissions that will carry on the legacy of awesome that all of you exhibited in Horizons. You made us all in the summit proud, and I expect that you will continue to do so.

However in the meantime, please don't neglect the competitions that are running right now. We have a nice variety that you can find on the comps page with a good amount of shinies to be awarded. Don't forget that participation is pretty much the number one way that you are able to set yourself up for promotions, so go out there and get it done.
