Dark Greetings Naga Sadow,

Well, here is my first report to you as Proconsul. It is a distinct pleasure to be writing this for the first time. You will note the lack of fiction, that is due to the same reason this report is coming out late; I was plagued with sickness. This sickness heavily affected my ability to sleep, among other things, and I was not in a "trusting" mode for writing this. Oh the eccentricities you missed out on.

Alas, that is not a story for today. Things are sure getting interesting around here, and I will be addressing that in the "News" section below. There has been a bit of a shake-up in the DJB, and it has not gone unnoticed.

Where'd all the Dark Council guys go? Indeed, that is the news of the month, in my humble opinion. Three members of the Dark Council stepped down, these being: DGM Halcyon, VOICE Vodo, and HM Ronovi. In their place we now have three new members of Council. I'm sure most of you have followed this on the main site but I wanted to bring it up again to make sure no one missed anything.

Raken is now DGM, Sarin to VOICE, and Windos to HM. In the meantime, our own Macron has become a Praetor to the DGM. As well, Arion scored Magistrate to the very same Shadowhand. Fun times, congratulations, and good luck to you all.

Moving on down the line, we gotta take a look at the fresh openings. Like I said, a lot of shake up going on in the DJB right now. House Scholae Palatinae, our Feud partners, are now looking for an Aedile and a Rollmaster. Xen is a good guy and would no doubt appreciate the help any of you would offer. As well, Plageuis is now after an Aedile as well. I do ask those that any and all members wishing to move upward in the DJB apply for these, if you think yourself ready. If you get it, you will be missed, but I'm sure you will still be in contact!

Now, what have I been up to since becoming Proconsul... Other than being my charming self? Well, I went straight to task looking at how to get the "fun" back in our Clan. It is difficult, with so many people the tastes are, well, varied. Making sure everyone gets what they want is hard enough during the best of times, and I'd be lying if I said it hasn't been a challenge. There are two major changes in the works right now, one complete the other not. These changes are in the form of our Fleet (More to come on this one, but I am very happy with it) and a retrofit of the Black Guard (as alluded to in Locke's report).

Now, some of you are new and may not know what the Black Guard is. Well, I'm not surprised. Even when Doom Train was running regularly I didn't even know what it was till I was appointed as a Guard! Check it out on the Wiki if you are interested in the current system. It certainly has a rich history and the potential to be a great driving force within our Clan. This is something we've been scrutinizing with a fine tooth comb and want polished to a shine before we throw it to the masses. Rest assured, the Summit has been back and forth at length trying to make sure all the bases are covered on this one.

Also, not commonly known unless you've been chatty with me lately, is that I am a Judge within the ACC. What that means for you? That means I'm going to be bugging you guys to get Qualified, if you haven't already. No, I will not be leaving you to the wolves, I offer any help I can provide in getting you comfortable with the system. It is definitely enjoyable from a combat author's point of view and can be integrated into your character's canon. I set up a, now defunct, Google Group referred to as "CNS ACC Dojo". Anyone who wishes an invite can attain one by asking, but the goal of the group was to discuss battles, share cool ones, and practice among ourselves. There is such a stigma about the ACC and I know a lot of people hoping to change that.

That is pretty much it in the realm of "I can tell you what I'm doing, in specific terms, cause the other crap is boring and you would fall asleep." I hope you are still with me as we move on to the next section.

Awards... Yes... Well, I'm going to say it now that I will not be listing the exact number of CFs. Our Clan is what I call a Fiction and Gaming juggernaut, and our TOR presence is nothing to laugh at. I'm talking hundreds of CFs a month combined from the lot of you.
