The hangar of the Invicta had become a hive of activity. Consul Wuntila had recently announced big new plans for Clan Arcona, and, as the flagship of the Arcona Expeditionary Force, the Nebula-Class Star Destroyer would be at forefront of the action.

Wuntila's plans were parallel with those of the Grand Master; the Brotherhood was coming out of the shadows. The Sith Empire would soon fall. And it would be Arcona as the First Clan that would reap the richest spoils.

After the events with Zoraan, Arcona's fighter squadrons had been largely wiped out. Many squadrons were completely destroyed, whilst others were whittled down to a few starfighters. The performance had been excellent, but the numbers faced had been immense. It was only because of Void Squadron's Force-using pilots, led by ace pilots Andrelious J. Inahj and Nadrin Erinos. Damon 'Snabbie' Tye, the other Flight Leader, and the squadron's official second-in-command, had also proven himself in combat, achieving an impressive seventeen kills in a single sortie.

Now the new squadrons, purchased by Wuntila began to arrive. Inahj noticed with a frown that more X-Wings were delivered; not StealthX fighters like Void, but more 'regular' XJ X-Wings, the basis model for the StealthX. Andrelious disliked the ‘Rebel’ fighters. It had taken him a few weeks to get used to his StealthX, and even now the Battlelord insisted on keeping his TIE Advanced, Sharpshoot, docked with the Invicta. The remaining TIE Interceptors, TIE Advanced and Scimitar Bombers were mostly scrapped, though some had apparently found new homes with the Navy of the Iron Throne.

"Times are changing, Voidites." Andrelious observed as the last XJ X-Wings landed quietly. "And it's time for Void to take up the mantle. We will be Arcona's elite"

News Welcome to a Void report! Much has happened since the last report at the end of November. I'm sure most of you read your emails and the DJB news page, but several things stand out:

• Currently running is the Dark Crusade prologue run-on. I am in a team with our own Snabbie, as well as Incendus, Nath Voth and Zakath from Shadow Gate. The prize is to be forever entrenched in DJB canon as the team who successfully took control of an SSD.

• The Dark Crusade that I mentioned above will be taking place all through 2013. It will be a series of vendetta-like competitions that will see the DJB, including Arcona, take control over the former Sith Empire. There will likely be chances to achieve the usual Vendetta-type rewards, perhaps even some new and interesting stuff.

• There have been several changes to both the Dark Council and Void Squadron. First of all, we lost Sarin to VOICE, and Raken to DGM. Massive congrats to both. It's not all losses, however. Please join me in welcoming K'tana to the squadron!

• The Beyond the Horizon feud with Plagueis is over. In typical Arconan fashion, we totally destroyed them. Congrats to Void member Nadrin on 8th overall with some impressive results.

• A DJB-wide AWOL check is being run. Most of you have reported in, but those that haven't need to find the email from Korras. This has a link that you must press to remain not only in Void, but Clan Arcona itself.

• A new position has been created - Forum Tribune. Basically this job will be to the fora what Benevolent is to the Wiki - an administator. Send apps for this to GM Muz and DGM Raken.
