Rian's asked me to re-publish the original report on the database, so here it is - the first (official) Wardens report!

New Members! If you haven't already welcomed ACO Nero Inferni to the Wardens, please do so! This young man is Malfrost's apprentice, having been brought here by the man himself and I'm not going to lie, I'm already impressed. He's working through the Shadow Academy and trying to get himself out there in IRC which is great to see. Welcome, Nero!

Stuff People Did! You know who's really great? Miranda Goto. I'm not gonna lie, I'm super impressed with her efforts. In the span of the holiday competition, she took out a mighty third, participating in three comps, winning one of them - The Three Ghosts of Sithmas - and netting herself three delicious crescents in the meantime. Not only that but her efforts have been rewarded in the form of a Dark Cross from Sid, which I think is a great little token of appreciation and a well-deserved one. I think he called it a cookie, which I like. She's also taken out second place in Carissus' competition, The First Kill, which is yet another crescent for her pile of cookies. Four crescents in a month and a DC is a great way to go!

Sena, why hasn't she been promoted yet? ;) Awesome work, Miranda. Keep it up and DJK for you in no time!

On that same note is Carissus! He ran the 'The First Kill' competition and graded it and I am not going to lie I had so much fun participating in it. Maybe it was the best competition? Thank you for bringing us that great opportunity, Carissus - please do more competitions in the future and I will be all over them, as I'm sure we all will.

Next up is Malfrost! Dark Jedi Knight! Hell yes. It is a brilliant feeling and I know you're still proud of that one. Not only that but he's also Magistrate to Raken (which in itself is a high honour) and working towards helping out in the Chamber of Justice. Not to mention he jumped straight into a run-on within the first day of being able to do so. This is good stuff and I know he's already keen to hunt his way up to EQ1. I'm very sure he'll get there soon! Keep at it, Malfrost, and you'll get there in no time!

The Run-On! We are making progress like champions, ladies. Despite some communication problems early on (partly my stupid, partly Google Groups being weird) I am very happy to report that we are getting close to finishing Phase 1. Our Phase 1 is looking great so far! I'm eagerly looking forward to Phase 2 in which we can jump straight in and get to the action and I hope you are too! Let's finish this one in style.

Other Happening Stuff! I'm still looking for volunteers to help me write out the three NPCs on our Wiki page. If you're interested in doing so, drop me a line and I'll send you the information on them.

If you haven't read the BT Guide, please do so - it's linked on the Google Group page and I'll do my best to find a more prominent way to link it, likely in the welcome message that I'm hoping to have emailed out to every new member of the BT as they join the google group. I'd like to see some people take up the writing prompts and missions provided. Malfrost and I are too keen that we've already taken one.

For those who don't know/too lazy, the 'missions' are going to form the Wardens' meta-plot. I'm planning on having a surrounding plotline for the BT based on these missions and any other submissions you think should be a part of it, including our general fiction writing. Let me know what you think of the idea and if you'd like to see it go ahead!

Closing! In closing, seriously, I cannot stress enough how great you guys are making this experience. I'm still really new to the DJB and it's thanks to people like you guys who make this experience so worthwhile. I'd like to think I've come a long way (even as a person) in the past two and a half months and being able to share that experience with you guys has really been the best thing ever. So thank you all for being great people. The reason I feel like I can be so productive is by having you guys as inspiration. I'd tell you all to keep being great, but that comes to you all like breathing! :D
