_Port Ol'val The Phantom Complex Classified Tunnel

Human, Chiss and Zabrek rode in relative silence as a non-descript mag-car pulling a series of flatbed trailers zipped along the series of darkened tunnels, the only light coming from the headlamp. The vehicle did not follow a circuitous route, instead veering sharply at random intervals trace an unpredictable path within the complex as per the autopilot's programming. The couplings keeping the trailers attached sparking violently from the strain of the sudden course changes.

The passengers - Tsainetomo, Fet'ai'narun and Incendus - were not struggling with the mag-car's controls trying to coax it onto a less gut-wrenching course; no, they were on the rear most flatbed. More to the point, the two Battleteam members were sparring the Gatewarden, and it took nearly all their skill and judicious use of the Force to avoid falling off and breaking against the unforgiving stone of the tunnel floor.

Pride swelled within Sai as he was attacked in tandem. Fet'ai'narun's feet lashed out at his face; a 'gentle' telekinetic strike sent her flipping through the air where she alit on the balls of her feet at the very edge of the flatbed. She wasted no time in propelling herself forward, shaking off the Force attack to get back into the fray. Incendus, who seamlessly followed up Fet'ai'narun's attack, closed the distance between he and the Battleteam Leader. He threw two vicious jabs and an uppercut at the Keibatsu, all of which were easily blocked by the Primarch. He sidestepped and the Chiss woman replaced him, sliding and looking to scissor the Keibatsu's legs out from under him with her own. The Darkside flared and Sai flipped backwards out of the way, hand-springing from trailer to trailer and finally landing atop the roof of the mag-car.

"Not bad!" Sai shouted above the wind whipping past them the morass of locks on his head streaming violently about his face. Both of his hands went to the small of his back and produced two cylinders. They tumbled unseen as Sai threw them; the Force guided them unerringly into a pair of awaiting hands. No standard issue Armory lightsabers, these weapons resonated with the unique Darkside signatures of those that made them - and with power. Fet'ai'narun and Incendus activated their blades in a discordant symphony. Sai followed suit, his sunset blade adding its own wavering glow to the others'. "Now...let's get serious!"

Smiling, Tsainetomo leapt from the roof...._

Afro here, with more missives from the 'Gate! As you know, there's been a DB-wide focus on the Dark Crusade, the main site to which can be found by clicking the banner on the Main page. I'm here to tell you that we've got a lot on our plates regarding the competition for this, and if you've read Sam's address regarding this, you know that we've got to absolutely bring it to these folks! If you participated in the Run-On prologue to this, you know that fictionally we're up against some heavies and it's gonna take some great concentration and development on our parts to match the stones the Throne must have to have the Brotherhood doing the invading for a change! Personally, I'm really liking this direction the club is taking and the potential for my character to grow even more. If you need some help with that, don't hesitate to reach out to me.

With the comp freeze, there isn't anything to report, shiny-wise, but I'm confident that'll change quickly. I have heard from Ninj, Lils and Cend regarding your pledges to do what you can for the sake of the Team and the glory of Arcona, and I'm looking forward to seeing you guys out there on the battlefield!
