& Aedile Joint Report (Need joint report graphic)

As Valhavoc stepped into the Qel-Droman mobile command post on Krayiss II he brushed some dust from the sleeve of his robe. The rocky terrain had been challenging and restricted many of the avenues of approach that the Clan had initially planned on exploiting during the campaign. Progress was slow, but the Arconans were slowly advancing. Across the room the new Aedile spotted Socorra, reviewing multiple data feeds of Qel-Droman forces reporting back to the operations center with status updates.

Catching the eye of one of the Force numb service members Valhavoc nodded his head towards the exit to the room, "Leave us." As the door shut the Sith Warrior turned back to his Quaestor, who was still deep in concentration focused on the reports flooding in, "We have a new development that you should know about."

"I assumed as much, seeing as you've spent much of the time on this planet in the field," the Erinos responded. She had worn her Mandalorian body armor since the day the first drop ship had touched down. Valhavoc noticed a few new blackened scars on it.

"You've been spending some time out of the command post as well. This isn't about how we've been spending our spare time though, one of the teams found something," the Aedile watched closely for a reaction as he shared the next bit of information. "Andrelious and Montresor located a bundle of scrolls among some of the ruins outside of the One Sith Base Camp. Along with a datapad that has a significant amount of notes on the research that had been done deciphering them. It appears they were items that had been removed from the Library by the One Sith before the Brotherhood attacked."

Finally the Socorran woman looked away from her monitors and smiled, "Very good. See to it that they are appropriately rewarded."

"It will be done," the Corellian responded, then turned and exited the command post.

News

So we're fresh off of the first phase of The Dark Crusade! Hope you all are resting up, the next Phase should be kicking off March 1st. We should be seeing the next Planet options coming up very soon, keep an eye on your email for info from the Clan Summit on it. Hope you enjoyed the short fiction intro to this report. So lets address the elephant in the room, so to speak. Yes, we were barely nudged out by Taldyran in this Phase of The Dark Crusade. Some of you may be wondering just how close the race was, it just so happens we've done the math. Five entries. That's all it would have taken for Arcona to take Krayiss II. That said, the February Phase of TDC is a thing of the past. History has already been written and all we can do is pick up and move forward, and we will. As we enter the next phase of The Dark Crusade we need to be aware of our past and to learn from it. So when March rolls around we'd love to see the majority of the House roll up their sleeves and dive in, ready to show what Qel-Dromans are made of.

Val's Intro: Hi folks. As most of you have figured out by now, I'm your new Aedile. A short bit about me, then on with the report. I spent most of the last year over in House Galeres before transitioning over here to HQD, very excited to be here with you all as we move forward into The Dark Crusade. I'm a gamer at heart, spending a pretty significant amount of time in Diablo 3 currently, although I've started to take a liking to the more fictional aspects of the Club lately as well. Due to some real life work constraints I don't get as much time on IRC as I'd like, but I have a pretty fast email response time to make up for it. If you have any questions I can help with or need to get ahold of me email is by far your best bet. Battleteams

Writers, there's a home for you here also! Shadow Gate is always looking for a few good Gatekeepers to keep their intelligence network functioning smoothly. Closing

We wanted to take a short bit of the report and recognize two members of House Qel-Droma who really went all out in the February of The Dark Crusade. These gentlemen participated in all six of the competitions that were run. As participation was the single criteria used to determine which unit wins each planet they really stepped up their game for Clan Arcona, and represented the House well.

We also had four members compete in four or five of the six events during February. This consisted of Nikola, Nadrin, Socorra and myself.

So... want your name in bright lights on the March Report? First, do work son! Second, report it in next month's activity tracker, because that's where I pulled these names from! Remember, your participation is the primary metric to determine which unit wins these initial phases of The Dark Crusade. Your entries have a significant impact on the fictional development of the Clan, specifically which planets we will control as The Dark Crusade continues.

Rest up while you can, March Phase of The Dark Crusade launches in only nine days. Remember, as we saw in February, every entry we submit counts and we need the whole Clan working together to win these events!
