As the five man team crested a snowbank they spotted two figures in the distance. "I think that's the Consul. Who's with him?" Montresor called back to the other members of the search party.

"Who they are isn't important," Nadrin responded, reaching out with the Force and sensing the two. "They're powerful, and our intelligence says the Consul should be alone. We need to be on our guard."

As the group approached the pair Nikola clasped Wuntila on the shoulder. "Respectfully, sir, next time I'd suggest you take up the offer for Void Squadron to escort you if you're planning on getting into some aerial combat," the Flight Leader said with a grin.

Wuntila nodded, days without shelter or supplies had worn on the powerful man. The group could tell he had run himself ragged surviving in the wastelands of Rhelg with the mysterious woman who was now accompanying him.

Inahj eyed Wuntila's traveling companion suspiciously, "Who are you, you look familiar to me..." the former Gatewarden's mind raced as his mind ran through possibilities, "Vonissia. Maxyn Vonissia. I remember your file now." The Battlelord took a step back and began to reach for his lightsaber.

"Your Consul would have died out here days ago if it wasn't for me!" the woman exclaimed as her she drew her own saberstaff. The air was thick with tension as the Qel-Dromans surrounded the One Sith.

Invictus and Wuntila took a few steps from the group, the Chiss leaned near the Consul and quietly inquired, "And what should do with her? She's been a target on Shadow Gate's radar for a while now."

The Dragon's response was simple, "Kill her."

Five lightsabers ignited in unison as the group closed in on the One Sith Lady, murder gleaming in their eyes.

Back at the House Qel-Droma Forward Operating Base Socorra received a priority flash message from the search team:

CONSUL LOCATED. ONE SITH ELIMINATED. ENROUTE TO BASE.

The Quaestor turned to Valhavoc, "They've secured the Consul and are bringing him back. Ensure the required preparations have been made for his arrival." The Corellian nodded and departed the operations center.

News

March participation in the Dark Crusade really ramped up, great job everyone! We saw a 50% increase in not only the number of members who participated in the March Event from February, but also a similar increase in the number of submissions to this round. Discounting members on LOA as a House we averaged 2.26 entries per member. Well done!

Projects and Plans for the Future

We've got some revamps we'd like to do on the HQD Wiki page, specifically adding some Graphics to a few parts of it. If you've got some Graphics skills and are interested in getting involved in this let the House Summit know and we'll hook you up with some work. Invictus is taking the lead on this project, so just shoot an email over to him, Socks, and me.

_Fiction Competitions: _

• Sentence Run-On - An Arcona specific competition to create a Run On one sentence at a time. This comp runs until September 2013, details can be found on the Competition Center and the Thread can be found by following this link.

_Misc Competitions: _

• ShadowHand Secrets - An ongoing Competition to find Hidden Messages in the DGM's Reports.
• Do ALL the Rage!!!!!! - Seen some funny stuff in #arcona or elsewhere in the DB? Make a rage comic about it and submit it to Sanguinius, Wuntila and Marick; cc'ing your relevant summit. It can be about anything, any length and must be funny.

So... who DID WORK SON?

We had seven members compete in all five events within this round. A big thank you for coming out and crushing Rhelg to Montresor, Nadrin, Andrelious, Nikola, and Invictus! Socks and I participated in 5 events each this phase as well.

Let's keep this momentum rolling as we move forward into April! Get more full participation, make me write longer fictions to these reports, Do Work Son!
