_36 ABY, first day of the Independence Games, Antei Colliseum

It was the first day of the Independence Games. It was an exceptional day, rarely seen on the main world of the Dark Jedi Brotherhood. All of the Dark Jedi Brotherhood was assembled in the Antei Colliseum, which was going to witness the sumptuous celebrations of the Day of Exodus. Suddenly, a giant holographic image of the Grand Master appeared in the air and all voices went silent at once. All of the Dark Jedi wanted to listen what their leader had to say.

“Dark Brethren and Sisters,” he started. “We have celebrated the Day of Exodus with the Independence Games four times so far. Now, we are about to start the fifth Independence Games in our history. However, this edition has a very special meaning to all of us, especially to veterans of the Brotherhood. This year, we celebrate the tenth anniversary of secession from the Emperor’s Hammer.”

The Grand Master stopped for a moment to let the audience contemplate his words.

“Our relationship with the Emperor’s Hammer has been bitter and hostile for many years. However, we have managed to overcome our differences and have allied with them. Still, we celebrate the Day of the Exodus in order to preserve our identity and remember our heritage. We all crave power and glory. Now, is the chance to take the glory you believe is rightfully yours. The Independence Games are now officially started!”

The holographic image of the Grand Master disappeared and the gathered Dark Jedi raised their heads to admire the fireworks show lighting up the sky. Soon, the elder members of the Brotherhood realized that it depicted the most important events in the history of the organisation._

The Independence Games have been on for almost six days already and are lasting until the 26th if April. They are a great opportunity to gain awards for participation and placing in a series of many short, medium and long competitions, which require a different amount of work.

The Day of Exodus is one of two moments during the year when Seals of Loyalty are given out to the members of the Dark Jedi Brotherhood, who show excellence and dedication in their service to the Brotherhood. With congratulations to all recipients of the Seals of Loyalty, I would like to particularly congratulate our House comrades Xen’Mordin Vismorsus, Archangel, and Evant Taelyan for earning their Seals. Thank you for your hard work and dedicated service to our House and the whole Dark Jedi Brotherhood!

Dante has been appointed to the Appeals Panel, in order to fill the void after Kalia’s resignation. Congratulations!

The Dark Covenant has been updated to reflect the necessity to give voting right to the leaders of the Independent Houses.

Projects

Apart from HSP Wiki updating (there is slow, but constant progress on this), we are currently working over reviving the Titles of Nobility. It will differ a bit from what we have seen in the past, but in order to have a reference of what it is going to look like (more or less), you may check the Wiki article at

I will personally refresh the system, which will be maintained by Dark Jedi Knight Eetherbiail, who has volunteered to continue the work on this project.

We are also preparing Paths of Career, which may be taken up by members of our House. We are currently solving the issue of locating the information about them, so that everyone may easily access them. More details will be available soon.

We are at a time when a lot of important events take place or are going to take place soon. The Independence Games, upcoming Chapter of the Dark Crusade, House projects, promotions and awards. It is the time when we all have countless opportunities to show off and to prove our excellence, both in our fictional roles and in the real projects and activity. It is a chance for all of us to receive awards and earn promotions. Do not be afraid to participate in competitions. You do not have to be victorious. Participation is enough, especially that it allows you improve your skills. Do not hesitate to ask for something to do. There is always something available in the House. Grab your chance and have fun!
