Since a fair number of things are in flux right now, I'm going to keep this report brief and possibly append more stuff to it when we know more. I've been assured that the Dark Council is working feverishly to get results out ASAP. So, hopefully, in the next couple of days we'll know how we did and who will get the shiny.
As you know, June is a month to recover from the Dark Crusade and get some well earned R&R in. However, that doesn't mean there won't be stuff for you to do. I'm working on a few competitions for you all that should help keep you entertained and engaged.. I'm planning at least one, probably two, fiction events, with at least one of them taking place on the forums. Not an RO per se, but it might feed into something I need to discuss more with Ronovi .In addition to being fun and a bit less serious, they will also help to inform the selection process for the "special forces" team for the upcoming phase.
On that front, as of now Ronovi and I are waiting for our leadership situation to be finalized before making any major decisions on what the team composition will look like. I know there's a fair number of folks that are going to want to be on that team, but we have to make sure it's going to be a group of folks that will not only show up for events, but will also put out a quality product. That's not to say that those who aren't selected are somehow less than those that are. We still value your contributions and support even if you're not in that gang of 8. You all are awesome in our book, we just need to make sure we have the right kind of awesome to compete with other unit's awesome.
One last note before I move on to the numbers and such. I've seen a fair bit of chatter from a number of folks interested in being a mentor to our newer members (more on that in a bit). First off, it's great that you want to help out in that regard. It's nice to know that we have a group of folks that are willing to share their wisdom with the new recruits. When we get a new member that wants a mentor (not all do) I'll be looking to match that person with a master who I think will be a good fit for them. One that has similar interests, availability, etc. It's not a one size fits all process, and I hope you understand. Thus, if you want to be a Master, please send me a quick note with what you're good at, what times you're typically available, and a general idea of what sort of student you're looking for an I'll match you up when the right candidate presents themselves.
Oh, yeah, before I forget. Would all of the journeymen within the sight of these pixels please shoot me an E-mail so I can figure out what your needs, challenges, loves, hates, and favorite colors are. Thanks!
Please welcome Valdr' to the ranks of the Ascendant House. He's already made his way to Novice and should be well on his way to being a great addition to Plagueis!

I think I'm going to start a thing with the musical/other inspiration in my reports. This month is something I've been listening to a bit lately and it just reminds me a fair bit of DB stuff, specifically my vision for Karness Muur. Enjoy the following from Imagine Dragons
And for your Moment of Zen, A Cat Video!
