June has been a nice relaxing off month from the Crusade. I know I've enjoyed the down time and I hope you all have as well. The last couple of weeks saw quite a few competitions being run for the HSP "Summer Games". I've got results for most of the competitions that ran over the last two weeks. There were a lot of fun and silly things to go do so I hope those of you who participated enjoyed the break from the more serious nature of the competitions in the Crusade. I also want to give a special shout out to Aquarius, Icy, Salem, and Moloch. These are four of our awesome Journeymen who helped run a few competitions as part of their requirements for promotions. A lot of remember the stress of those first several times running competitions and these guys have done great. Also thanks to Xantros, Evant, Eether, and Mayda all of whom helped round out a few more events for people to do. Most of the results are below. The rest I will make sure are emailed to the house as I get them.

On the DB wide front there is a bit of news. Phase 2 of the Crusade begins July 5th, with an incorporated Special Forces team from each unit. The rest of the HSP Summit and myself are quickly finalizing a list for this team, and will inform you of the lucky participants for it. As always with large scale DB-wide events there has been a great deal of work that has gone into prepping it. I want to thank everyone involved for having it go so smoothly through Phase One. Phase One was just the beginning of what will continue to be a year full of striving for gold. I hope you all continue to have fun in enjoying this historic event. We may always want to strive for bragging rights in winning but the point is for you guys to have fun, so come up with new and fun ways to approach the competitions and go enjoy this.

More news includes the resignation of Fremoc from the position of FIST. I've known Fremoc a while now and am sad to see him go, but am excited to see what comes of whomever gets the position next!

Muz had run a survey a little while back about what things people enjoyed and didn't like in the club. Unsurprisingly the answers were that people really enjoyed the sense of community and hated the drama. Muz has an excellent write up it all in his Grandmaster Report. I hope you all go check it out.

Also exciting news from the Seneschal, James. James and the rest of the Seneschal staff have been hard at work on a newly coded site for us to use (some of you may have noticed the reoccurring errors that pop up on the main DJB for a while now. They have finished coding the new site to a level features that mirrors what we currently have so after another round of bug testing we should be seeing the switch to the new site. For those of you who want to see whats going on with the coding on the new site, you can always visit the staging site here.

Finally in the last Combat Master Report, Mav highlighted some more information from the upcoming Character Sheet overhaul with the new Skill System. These new Character Sheets are shaping up to be quite awesome so make sure to look into that report if you want more information about it.

Outside of all of that, I hope you all are having a wonderful start of summer! The year is nearly half over and there are plenty more awesome things coming for us all this year.
