I'm alive! I'm ALIVE! Muahahahahahahaha! I don't have any fancy graphics for you yet, though, so let's pretend there's a stick figure dancing around with a lightsaber here.

Okay, it's Quaestor report time. We've had a good month's break away from the Dark Crusade Batteries recharged, some fun was had, and all will be well. I'd like to give a shout-out to the previous Clan Summit - Locke, Atra, Kalia and Kairus did some really great things with CNS and I'm hoping that our new Summit can do just as well. Needless to say, there are a lot of changes coming. New Summit members, new fiction, new more or less everything. It's going to be an exciting time. I'll tell you guys what I'm on the look out for in a bit. Let's start with announcements!

Competitions!

Thank you to everyone who submitted a comp this month. It was nice to do something without any pressure and those of you who did manage to submit did a good job. Hopefully we'll get another chance to do something like this soon.

The Dark Crusade!

We're about to get started on the second chapter. I'm not gonna mince words here, we could have done better in the last chapter. These things happen. However, Chapter 2 is our chance to turn this around, where skill determines who wins the planet. And you know what? I don't care what anyone says, I want a chance to take Plagueis' face and smash it against the pavement just so we can prove that Naga Sadow is the best damn bunch in the DJB. We're the Clan, not Plagueis or Tal or any one of those chumps, right? Right. We'll stomp them. Our top eight will go into Special Forces and will compete against the rest of the Special Forces teams. Everyone else will have the chance to compete for our fleet points, which I would personally like to hoard so we can buy House Marka Ragnos a nice shiny command ship.

Here's the deal - earn us enough fleet points to buy a ship in this phase, and (provided I can punch Korras and Mal hard enough to keep it for us) you guys get to name it. Deal? Deal. We'll make a show of it and hand out a Dark Cross for the winner and I'll write you into some fiction involving the christening of our brand new killstick.

The Black Guard!

The Black Guard trials for the second term are about to hit us. These are going up based on Crusade results, so if you'd like a chance to contribute to Summit meetings, this is a great opportunity to do so. It's great experience and looks good on any applications you put in for CNS positions, so be sure that if you have any kind of aspirations, get yourself out there during the Crusade and earn yourself a Black Guard position.

Shar Dakhan!

Now, I haven't heard when the QUA applications for HSD are going up. I'll leave that one up to Muz and Korras. However, if you are interested in trying your hand as Quaestor, be ready with an application at some point in the near future.

The future?

There are a couple of projects I'd like to make some serious headway on soon - specifically, the wiki project. I am still looking for volunteers to help out on that. I haven't gotten very many responses, if any at all, so if you would like to help write some fiction, please drop me a line and we can get to work on that ASAP. I know, Crusade, blah blah, but we have to do something other than throw ourselves head-first at vendettas all day every day!

For our Journeymen, I'd like to see some promotions roll on through. Let me know if you're looking to make more progress on that and I can hand you some tasks to complete in order to further that progress.
