What if the prequels had been different?

What if Obi-wan had been the main character, and Darth Maul his main nemesis? What if Dooku had never become evil? What if Owen Lars had, in fact, been a pilot, and Yoda a pacifist who would never use a lightsaber?

In his "What if..." videos for both Episode I and Episode II of the Star Wars saga, Michael Barryte of Belated Media introduces us to, in my opinion, a fascinating and refreshing new take on what the prequels could have been. Not only does he address the problems of the actual prequels (with love, might I add, as he's a huge Star Wars fan), but he also develops storylines that I wholeheartedly wish could have been the actual movies.

Of course, feel free to discuss these videos to your hearts' content. I thought this was interesting enough to merit some healthy commentary.
