I'll keep this nice and short, since there is a lot of important news down below.
Requirements:
Going for a quick turn around on this one, I'll be selecting someone this weekend in time to include them in my next report.
We're currently sitting at 827 passed or successfully retaken Shadow Academy exams. That means we only need 173 more to reach the goal of 1,000.
As I mentioned in a previous news post, the Shadow Academy will be awarding 10 Scrolls of Foundation to 10 randomly selected people who have passed exams during this period, so get to it!
The Debate courses will be closed soon and reserved for special events in the future. If you have a burning desire to get them on your Training Tab now, you have until the next HM report is released.

Should we have a 'Clone Trooper/Storm Trooper' lesson? Just an idea for the SA.
Adding one thing to that like 'Clone Trooper/Storm Trooper History' or ' Death Star History' , or now that we have the Light Jedi concept going now some Light Jedi courses as well if we already don't have any. Like 'History of the Jedi Order 1,2, and 3' or 'Light side lore' or ' history of the jedi Purge 1,2 and 3'....Some sort of courses such as those.
I have a lot of potential courses in mind.
Death Star history would be a short course... Built DS1, destroyed due to a design flaw, three years later: nearly completed DS2 destroyed due to a design flaw. :P
Yeah but I have other course Ideas as listed above. They would be good courses for the SA
Do we have a 'character history development' course?
Storm Trooper/Clone Trooper history is mostly covered in the movies and their armor design is covered in the course Battle Tactics II. I think that something has been mentioned about Light Side courses... but I'm not a member of the SA staff :P Death Stars are covered in Capital Ships course, under Superweapons (If I remember correctly).
Light jedi courses would be good
I have others if anyone wants to email me and ask or something. Let me know.
History of the Dark Council?
History of the Dark Crusade and history of the Great jedi war.
I had inquired about light courses and Solari mentioned that the SA is currently working on some, didn't get an ETA though
Yes, each of the Light Side orders will get their own CORE exam, like the Dark Sides do. I'll announce an ETA when I have one ;)
The main thing to remember with any new courses is that we want them to have some sort of practice application; they should teach how and/or why something is done (the obvious exception to this is the Journeyman Hall and CORE.)
Anything that would fall into the category of a "Trivia" course, or "here is a bunch of fiction, now answer questions about said fiction", may be better suited on the DB Wiki, or even better the Wookieepedia if it will help the collective knowledge pool.
I see Salem's listed an idea about character history development above. Do we have anything like that at the moment? I know the ACC Basics, Writing, and RO courses allude to it slightly, as does the Wiki Basics if I remember correctly, but would courses specifically for character development be beneficial? A how-to and tips sort of thing like with the Vendetta courses? We have quite a number of references now with the CS guides and release.
We are working on it, Atyiru. Additional writing courses have been my obsession in last eight months. :P
I know there's a lot of information in the various mentioning of history in other exams about the people the Clans and Houses are named after but I think it would be cool to have each house and clan make their own exam about the person they're named after. It looks like at one point some did exist, so why are they inactive now? If anything iI think it would be a neat project for the Queaster and their houses to pull together to write them. Perhaps make a comp out of it?
Also
We used to have unit history courses, they're pretty pointless?
Bringing the Clan exams back were one of the projects on the go a while back but I think it was put on hold. The old exams were closed just before I came onboard, and I'm not 100% sure why... could have been lack of interest, or the fact they were getting out of date without universal interest in updating them.
Ask me, I know a lot of courses. I was also going to mention Clan/House type of courses as well.
Maybe in Combat studies like Blaster studies or something like those in weapons.
History of the Rebels
