Greetings “Jellies”,

Since taking over the position of Battle-Team Leader, I have been trying to figure out ways that we could better define what our role is for the House. Along with BTL V’yr of Knights of Allusis, we decided to put a much more military spin on our teams.

“Milka-whaaat?"… Basically it means that our BTs will feel more like military units, possibly getting accepted into the Kotahitanga-Unity Defense Force as official divisions X fingers crossed X

BTO and KoA will also be training together. These training missions will be special competitions designed around, but not limited to, warfare, stealth and tactical planning. The competitions will be run separately for each BT but at the same time. The BT with the highest score gets something better than shiny metals, they get the right to say they are Battle-Team Awesome.

This new “Mil-Spec” BT will also undergo some cosmetic surgery. The heart and soul of Ooroo will remain unchanged, the outer skin though, I have my scalpel ready. I’m hoping that this “makeover” will help draw in new blood, which will allow us to grow and remain strong. Participation and activity is the key.

Competitions: Lots of fun stuff to do in the Brotherhood. As for the in-house competitions, here you go…

• The Alternate Ending to Episode 3 – What would have happened had Yoda and Obi-Wan brought Anakin back from the dark side? You decide. Ending 9/27/13

• Report Graphics – Add some “flair” to Lyze’s Rollmaster Reports. Help a brother out… Ending 10/02/13

• Look I can draw too! – Another competition by Lyze for those of us, like myself, who make stick figure heads that look like potatoes. Ending 10/02/13

• Battleteam Ooroo Training: Assassination - We have a special role in the House. How can we preform if we aren’t trained, you ask? Well, I will pick out games that have something to do with our role as a BT and post them as competitions. This not only is a fun way to get shinnies but can put you in the frame of mind needed to write fiction pertaining to our covert operations. If you like Metal Gear, then this should be up your alley… shhh. Ending 10/07/13
