Greetings Folks,

It's time for this week's report, where I keep you updated on all the newest and coolest goings on of the big wide DB, and the stuff that's going down. I'm pretty exhausted today, so apologies in advance for any lame attempts at humour that may be included.

SINS OF OUR FATHERS COMPETITION

I know the leaves are starting to turn, and everyone wants to pull a Howie and curl up into a ball and start their hibernation, but sadly, I'm a sadist and I like giving you guys stuff to do regardless of the circumstances in the DB. Call me crazy.

The competition we're participating in with Clan Naga Sadow is still going on, and while so far Taldryan has had a lot of submissions to gaming and the propaganda events, our run-on still needs a lot of work. Rian and Howie both put some work in advancing the plotline of the story, and it sounds like it could take some interesting turns, but we need people to jump in there and start posting. You can view the thread here, and I really hope to see a few more names in their in the coming days.

CONGRATULATIONS, TALDRYAN

As some of you may have noticed: Rian, Bubbles and I recently rolled up our sleeves and started rewarding members of Taldryan for all their hard work in the second Phase of the Dark Crusades. I know the Crusades have been a taxing time for all of us, and these recent medals are just a small indication of the appreciation your summit has for all the work you do. Thus, I would like to congratulate the following people on the receipt of their most recent merit awards.

Earning a Steel Cross: Jac Cotelin, Howlader, Chaosrain Taldrya, Halcyon Rokir Taldrya, Kazmir Natas, Rian Aslar and Alaris Jinn

Earning an Anteian Cross: Tarax Eosphorous Taldrya Kor, Shaz'air Taldrya, Rathus Marr and Quejo

And finally earning a Dark Cross: Benevolent Taldrya Whiner, Talon Drear, Nyssa "Bubbles" Taldrya, Draco Sangria, Catmatui

Once again, thank you all for your efforts on behalf of Taldryan, and congratulations on your awards.

STICK THEM WITH THE POINTY END, SARIN

The Voice of the Brotherhood, Grand Master Sarin aka Darth Pravus, has recently been rewarded for his work on the Dark Council. Now, sometimes I'm not sure how much of the work Sarin does filters down to people in their everyday lives. As someone who gets to see more of his work, but even still only gets to see a sliver, I know just how much dedication Sarin has to the DB.

There's one simple undeniable fact about Sarin, is that he works his tail off for us. During the fiction events of the Dark Crusades, we've seen some amazing turn arounds when he's been quite frankly swamped with submissions from all corners of the DB. He's constantly working behind the scenes with the Dark Summit to further the DB's fictional bedrock, and fictional future.

He's worked closely with the Combat Master to help shape the future of the (hopefully soon) returning Antei Combat Centre. You can visit the news post detailing Sarin's award here and I hope you'll join me in congratulating him on this award.

Like the quote says Sarin.. make sure you stick 'em with the pointy end, and congrats.

MALIK, CONSUL OF NAGA SADOW

Another big reward (or curse, depending on how you view it) that recently happened in the DB was the appointment of Malik Sadow to the position of Consul of Naga Sadow. Now, Malik's a dirty Danish Viking and all that, but despite the fact that he has no taste, class, or anything worthwhile about him, he's one of the DB's best, and in a softer moment I might admit that he's one of my personal favourites. But I'm not in that soft mood, so Malik, you suck.

But seriously, congrats Malik on your appointment. I know CNS is in good hands under your guidance.

M.A.A. (MORE ARION APPOINTMENTS)

Uh, yea. Tiredness is starting to creep in, and I'm really losing my head here. But another big congratulations is in order for Dark Jedi Master Arion Sunrider, now known as something weird. I've known Arion since he was just a wee lad back in Ektrosis, and I can say that I'm very happy for his appointment to the position of MAA.

At the very least it means he gets out from under James' codemonkey thumb ;)

DARK COUNCIL REPORTS

Got a couple of reports to include this time, with some quick work from Arion getting his first report out in time for inclusion in this report, as well as a report from the DGM. Oh and there's also a link to a news article that Sarin posted concerning the fact that Lightsabers are one step closer to being a thing. Sure it's not a report, but it's a fricken lightsaber. C'mon. Also some game updates from the Fist.
