Greetings Folks,
It's time for another rendition of your most favouritist news digest in all of the DB Lands, the Weekly Aedile Report! Been a busy week in the real world for me, and has also been kind of busy in DB world as well. So let's get into it.
But no, seriously… the position of Herald as we all know was recently vacated by Shikyo. While we mourn his departure, the business of the day must continue, and we need a new Herald. Enter mini muzzles, by the time this report gets to you, the short window for applications will be closed, but that's not the most important thing. What Muz has put forth is a rare and golden opportunity to learn the tools of the trade that the DB currently requires for its creative artistic work.
He's offering the chance to team up with him in one of those new-fangled Google hangout things so you can see him work his mojo on bright shiny shafts. You can read the full details about the Hangout lessons here if you're at all interested.
Well, my humour is just really off tonight, so this is going to be a long and tedious report, sorry folks. Anyways, the DB's Fist recently earned a promotion to the rank of Sith Battlelord. Congrats to you Val, from me and all of Taldryan.
Speaking of the Fist, he's also recently released his most recent report which outlines one of the most sorely needed updates in recent DB History, I speak of course of the scrapping of those insanely old, arcane and convoluted Rites of Combat. What is this I am saying? You can actually read and understand the new RoCs without a massive reference volume?! Yes of course, and thank you greatly to Val for doing this.
You can read the new RoC's, as well as inspect the new Tier 1 and Tier 2 Gaming Platforms on the Wiki.
So yea, essentially the DB's Voice, Grand Master Sarin (Pravus) is super into GTAV, and they recently released the online patch for it. So apparently Sarin wants to team up with people on Xbox Live and go steal some banks and rob some cars, or something. Details and such can be found here
As per usual, there are a bunch of competitions taking place DB wide right now, including a lot of gaming comps, and even some mobile gaming comps (for the non-Blackberry inclined). Make sure you check out the links to the competitions below, as well as (and specifically) Val's Fist report where he explains the upcoming Gorefest competition for all members of the GMRG. (Woo double CFs!)
Well, nominations have closed for the next round of the Get to Know a Tally report, so head on over to the forums here and vote on your next most favouritist Tally that you want to learn a bit more about.
It's Back Baby! The Next round of the RTFR Series in competitions will be going live soon, and you can read the details on it here. Subscribe to the competition on the site, and learn your mission. Submit your results. Profit! Huzzah!
And that folks, is how you report! Just a quick reminder that the Dark Crusades are still looming nearer and nearer in the Horizons, so don't get too comfortable in your rest. We're back off to War in just over a fortnight on November 8th.
Until next time!
