House Marka Ragnos Aedile Report #1

Well, it was about time I released a report! From those who don't know me I'm Rosh Nyine, a Spanish guy who suddenly reappeared after 3 years of absence and started working like crazy on his promotions until he reached his objectives. Now an Aedile of our beloved House I share the work with the Quaestor, Teu, while I work on as many projects for the DB as I can. But enough talking about me!

As you can see this is my first report as Aedile, so please be nice if it's not the greatest report ever. I promise they'll improve over time. And now, time for the news!

House News

Marka Ragnos is right now a burst of activity from our journeymen, which are advancing through their ranks at a very fast rate (more on that later). We had a period of relaxing before the final of the Dark Crusade and we have been doing a great work in competitions, specially on run-ons. We have also seen the revival of Scepter of Ragnos, our Battleteam, with the appointment of Vaar as Sergeant and the transfer of our most active members to their unit. Maelous, the Battleteam Leader, is sure pleased about it.

So far we can be proud of what we've been doing lately, as I said. The lore of the House is being rewritten, along with our Clan's lore. We had a vendetta competition with House Taldryan, which was great, and we're shaping the story of the House and the Clan in the current run-on.

What else could we do to improve our status? Well, as Aedile I couldn't ask for more from the journeymen, after all they're the most working members lately. If our Equites start participating in more competitions though it would be great. Gaming, fiction, whatever, anything that any of you guys do counts to improve the image of the House!

And speaking of competitions...

Competitions

Right now there are a few competitions active and a run-on from the Clan that everyone can join. Let's list them and pick which ones you like most to warm-up for the Dark Crusade!

[HMR] The Pork Side! - A very easy competition just for our House. In the latest Angry Birds competitions line, the competition is about playing a certain level in Angry Bird: Star Wars II and submit your highest score. Simple as that!

[HMR] Encoded Wisdom - A lot of you guys have that Cryptography 101 course from the Shadow Academy, right? Well, this is about deciphering an encrypted message. It may sound harder than it is, but I can assure you that with a notepad and half an hour (maybe less, there are fast people out there!) decrypting the message should be a piece of cake.

Pazaak Party - There's still time to join this competition and play some Pazaak with other people. Since the Fist's office has changed the RoC, now it's much easier to play and submit matches. If you are in mood of playing some cards, here's your chance, plus the benefit of earning some Clusters of Fire and maybe a Crescent.

Don't worry, she'll hold together - Usually competitions are about doing the best you can... Well, this is about the opposite. Run a determinate space mission in The Old Republic and finish the mission with your ship as damaged as possible. Sounds easy, right?

About the run-on, you only have to head to our Clan's forum and check for it. There is a lot of enthusiasm in the ones that are already participating, so if you like writing you're missing it out!

Promotions and Achievements

Promotions, promotions... we all like promotions. Unfortunately Teu left me without many of them to announce but we got Ar'rik promoting to Jedi Hunter and getting ready for his knighthood. He really deserved that promotion and I'm pretty sure that Teu will steal the news of him becoming a Dark Jedi Knight in the next report! We also have another journeyman, Crysall, getting ready for her knighthood. Good work both of you guys, I can't wait to see your new lightsabers soon!

And what have the members of House Marka Ragnos accomplished during the last weeks? Well, here is a list!

Teu - Teu finally finished her last requisites for the impressive Dark Sage: Law by completing the courses Debate I: Argumentation and Debate II: Refutation! Congratulations are in order, well done!

Rosh Nyine - This guy (I wonder who he is) did some stuff as well according to our notes. He has earned a total of 54 Clusters of Fire since the last report, 2 Pendants of Blood, 2 Crescents with Topaz Star, a Crescent with Sapphire Star and complete the Dark Savant in Tactics and Combat. Keep up the good work, whoever you are!

Vaar - We already know that Vaar is a wise guy, but he wanted to prove it in paper, and so he did. He has completed the Test of Wisdom and almost (almost!) got a Crescent for the Mass Effect competition. Watch out for this Krath, I'm sure he'll soon complete many more courses!

Maelous Ascarend - Maelous jumped into a House competition and earned a Crescent with Quartz Star to show that if he participates in something, he does it to win. Well done!

Crysall - The gamer of the journeymen, she earned 43 Clusters of Fire and a Pendant of Blood since the last report. Not bad Crysall, keep those CFs rolling in!

Ar'rik - He was not happy just with his promotion so decided that earning a Crescent with Emerald Star and a Crescent with Quartz Star was a good idea. And that idea turned into reality. I'm glad he's on our side, we need people earning those and Ar'rik is the right guy for it. Keep up the good work!

News outside the House

A lot of them! But let's focus in the most urgent ones.
