Greetings folks,
Fast and dirty report on the way. The Aedile needs some sleep.
No, this isn't just a post about the members from Taldryan who have received recognition. Seals of Loyalty are granted to those members of the Dark Brotherhood who have shown dedication, energy, excellence and above all, loyalty to the Dark Brotherhood. They're members who give the DB their all, and we're all made the better for their efforts.
Thus, join me in congratulating the following members of the DB, (organized by rank): Muz Ashen, Darth Pravus, Anshar, Howlader, Kalen, Timeros, Alaris, Cethgus, Tarax, Wally, Archangel, Valhavoc, Montresor, Rayne, Morotheri, Atyiru, Brimstone, Arturis, Xantros, Eetherbiail, Lyze Kiel, Rosh Nyine, Nero Inferni, Levathan and Ar'rik.
Once again, all of you, congratulations and thank you. You can read the full announcement from the Grand Master in his report
The position of Battle Team Leader in the Wardens is still open for application. Rian and I will be accepting applications until November 10th, so if you think you've got the chops for it, we'd love to see your ideas. This is the start in a long planned out change in the way we operate Battle Teams in Taldryan, and we plan on making sure you work your butt off, but also get to help guide the future of the entire unit. Keep that in mind should you wish to apply.
Yep, the day is very nearly upon us. When Friday turns into Saturday this week, we shall once again hear the drums of war and ride off to face our destinies. This round of the Crusades will be fought upon the soil, and in the skies of Dromund Kaas, alongside warriors from both Odan-Urr and Scholae Palatine. Upon it we shall endeavour to conquer and take control of what was once the jewel of the second Sith Empire, where the first Sith Emperor set his throne.
Dromund Kaas is a world that is steeped in Star Wars lore, and as any of you who have played the Old Republic know, has an amazing array of cool things on it. We've been cautioned to remember that the DB's view of it may not be exactly as canon dictates, and we should be sure to be mindful of any changes, but even still, we can expect something pretty damned awesome from this round.
We will be continuing the format of two divisions for placing and events, and Taldryan's A-Team will once again be rising to the challenge. Most important is however, that we focus on participation. Participation is the great key for everything in the DB. If you're here, and not doing stuff, you're not getting the most of what the DB has to offer. In times of war like these, it's especially important that we pull together and do what we can to help Taldryan be successful.
Representing Taldryan's A-Team this round will be the following stalwart members: Jac Cotelin, Halcyon Rokir Taldrya, Shadow Taldrya, Quejo, Shaz'air Taldrya, Kazmir Natas, Rathus Marr, and the poor excuse for a man that is your Aedile.
Get ready folks. We need everyone's best effort.
Wrapping up the competition before the Crusades get going is the last of the RTFRs for a little while, while the Crusades are going on. I was hoping people might like the flash game, but apparently not, so we only had two entries. Congratulations to Halc and Rian for their Crescents, which I promise, will be awarded soon.
Take a minute to go read all of those reports, but especially Muz's. He has a lot of cool lil pictures and talks about some important stuff. His ask the GM section is especially of note concerning the upcoming Crusades and the following Great Jedi War.
Finally, I'd like to take this opportunity again to welcome Taldryan's newest member, Styphon Titansson to the DB, and Taldryan. Stay classy San Diego.
