We've had some confusion over what constitutes winning one (DJB) Match of Pazaak for gaming activity reporting purposes, so I wanted to take a second and clear this up for everyone.
The following picture shows when you earn one point for Pazaak gaming.
Once a player has earned three points they win the (DJB) Match against their opponent, and should report the gaming activity. The use of the word "Match" in the screenshot is likely where the confusion was coming from.
Everyone who has submitted Pazaak Gaming activity this weekend will get an email from me at some point between now and the end of the Crusade, and then I'll get the Gaming Records updated to reflect the correct information. I'll also be updating the Pazaak section of the ROC to show this example with a screenshot reference alongside it.

I like the FIST
If time is the reason for this, then you need to reconsider. A whole 'point' as you claim above can take as long as a whole JA match.
I got told i submitted wrong. I've had 5 duels
Following is who won in matches
Yacks 2 me 3 Dante 3 me 2 Frosty 0 me 3 Dante 3 me 1 Dante 3 me 0
That's how i reported them. Since 3 duels ended before 4-5 games, player got to 3 wins, there's no need to play final matches.
So where did we go wrong?
So each of the duels you've listed is a Pazaak Match (when you finish if you won you'll see the screenshot in my News Post). Each of those is worth one "point". The first person to reach three points wins. So with the matches you listed:
To report them in the PVP Activity tool it would be like this:
I'll go through and reject the ones already submitted and create new correct matches based on what I listed above.
-Val
mixed up some of my list there, but you get the idea.
Can you post screen shots of submission page so i see how it looks
Probably a stupid question, but is that a mobile-friendly game? Particularly Android?
no. its on pc.
Just emailed screenshots of the submission page examples btw.
Jason, I think someone mentioned you can do pazaak on mobile. It's just a flash web game as far as I know.
Yacks is right. There is no App that lets you play, but at least one smart phone web browser will let you use it.
I think the specific one someone mentioned was on an Android phone. Maybe Chrome?
I tried it in Chrome on my Android last night. It would load, but for whatever reason I couldn't log in with my account or as a guest, the screen would just snap back to the password field. YMMV.
Pazaak was down last night, actually; several of us tried to play and it wasn't loading for anyone regardless of platform. At the same time, I don't know if the playing field for pazaak would be very mobile optimized, but I guess we won't know until someone tries.
It still is not loading/logging in for me...
When it's back I'll try it again on my phone and screenshot it and report back.
I can play it with my ipad
I cant get the game to log in for me. every time I try it just sit there doing nothing. I am not sure what to do at this point.
I played a match against Aabs on my iPhone 5, no issues.
I was having issues logging in from desktop today as well
well I finely was able to get it working I Hope
Yeap, good stuff, looks to work in Chrome on Android. I imagine it won't be great on a phone, but doable.
Doable is good enough. My S3 is my only reliable internet access right now, so I'm kinda limited as far as gaming is concerned.
ok I want a bit more info on the game. last night I played some with others and some people were saying we had to play to 3 in the match and that counted as ONE point in a match of best 2 out of 3. Then some one else said the match and game was over once the game ended at the point when some one had three points when the game is over and starts new.... Who is right?
The one who follows the rules as set-out above by Val is correct. It's straight-forward. If it doesn't follow what is outlined above then it doesn't count
Maybe tennis terminology will help make things clearer.
Game, Set and Match.
A Game is an individual Hand, the object of which is to get to 20. A Set is a Best of 5 Combining 3 Games (or hands). A Match is a Best of 5 Combining 5 Sets, the Winner needing to reach 3 to get a single win, for reporting purposes.
You report Matches. The minimum amount of individual hands that needs to be played is 9. Once you have played between 9 and 15 hands, you report one PVP Pazaak Round on the Submit Gaming Sheet.
^Agreed. The easiest way I've come to think about it is regular card game terminology: three "hands" constitutes a match.
Yacks explanation is spot on. On a plane about to take off. Can't write more atm
